She is bloody brilliant! Just want to drum up a bit of support on her behalf really. I would love her to do well tonight.

Who is she?

Storytown · 14/12/2014 09:32

No, we want Max to win.

Although TBH, anyone but Lewis Grin

itispronouncedpenguin · 14/12/2014 09:37

No thanks. I'm voting for Lizzy Yarnold, shes awesome.

MuseumOfHam · 14/12/2014 09:38

Will be voting for Jo, she's an inspiration.

Getoffmyland · 14/12/2014 09:38

Tried to post a link to her macropront but not the most technically savvy, sorry! In a nutshell she won the European 10,000m gold medal this summer at the age of 41. She had given birth to her baby 10mths before this as well as having a four year old. How she did it, I do not know! Really hope she does well tonight, as in my opinion, the BBC doesn't always have a good track record of recognising females in the world of sport..and this woman is exceptional.

Tough list this year.

Don't think Gareth Bale/Lewis Hamilton deserve to win.

I will be voting for Charlotte Dujardin

RosesandRugby · 14/12/2014 09:47

Sorry, I'm voting Charlotte Dujardin too along with almost everyone I know. I'm sure she will get plenty of votes anyway but I vote for those in the sports I follow. Grin

Getoffmyland · 14/12/2014 10:01

That's certainly fair enough, if you have already made your minds up. For any floating voters / people who weren't intending to vote at all - please do consider the marvellous Jo! I think she is extraordinary and her achievements this summer certainly gave me a boost (sudden realisation as a 38 yr old working Mum of 2 - that there are still things to be achieved out there!!).

Another voting for Charlotte

Dinnerfor1 · 14/12/2014 10:21

I'll be voting for Jo. You're right - she is amazing!

muffinino82 · 14/12/2014 10:23

YANBU to ask, she is very deserving.

But I will be voting for Charlotte Grin

mrsruffallo · 14/12/2014 10:24

Hmm, not sure about this.

Mrmonkey · 14/12/2014 12:24

Another vote for Charlotte here, she has achieved so much and gets so little national recognition! In most sports if you were olympic, world and European champion all at the same time when the sport has previously been dominated by the Germans as the Dutch you would have made the news!

whattheseithakasmean · 14/12/2014 12:30

Another vote for Charlotte Dujardin. Equestrianism is the only sport where men & women compete on a completely level playing field and it get woefully little publicity or air time.

carabos · 14/12/2014 13:56

Jo is brilliant and I would love to vote for her but have to vote for Charlotte instead -(politics - professional dressage household).

fascicle · 14/12/2014 14:09

She can have a vote from me. All that training with a buggy definitely paid off.

sharon56bus · 14/12/2014 14:40

The Shooting is also competed for equally by men and women ........

jay55 · 14/12/2014 15:26

I'm voting for max, no gymnast has ever won.

RunningAwayFromMyMind · 14/12/2014 15:33

I'm extreamly surprised Steve Way wasn't put forward for this. He's an amazing inspiration.

Whatdoesaduckdo · 14/12/2014 15:39

I'm voting for Kelly Gallagher fab local lady who has achieved so much

2of3 · 14/12/2014 15:44

Lewis Hamilton gets my vote.

waithorse · 14/12/2014 15:49

I'm voting for Lizzy Yarnold.

alovelycuppatea · 14/12/2014 15:54

I agree! Jo Pavey for me....superbe achievement...am hoping that I am still walking never mind running only a few months after having my baby!

hellyhants · 14/12/2014 16:04

I'm also surprised Steve Way wasn't put forward.

I'm voting for Jo.

zukiecat · 14/12/2014 16:44

I never watch this or vote for anyone, but I'll be voting for Charlotte Dujardin too. No one deserves it more than her.

Dressage and Gymnastics are the only sports I follow and it's time that Dressage and Charlotte's brilliant achievments were recognised more.
