She is bloody brilliant! Just want to drum up a bit of support on her behalf really. I would love her to do well tonight.

Did Hamilton win then?

I'm not sure he should even qualify as an entrant, as a tax exile I doubt he even has a TV licence Grin

standingonlego · 14/12/2014 22:30

Third is brilliant, trophy to take hone for Jo Grin

girliefriend · 14/12/2014 22:30

Nobody looks particularly impressed that he has won!!

And what is going on with Gary Lineker - someone give him some honey and lemon!!

itispronouncedpenguin · 14/12/2014 22:32

Shouldnt he come under the category of foreign sport personality Story? Grin

timtam23 · 14/12/2014 22:32

Well done Jo Pavey for coming 3rd, and at least Rory McIlroy in 2nd place has a personality, but Lewis Hamilton - noooooo!

zukiecat · 14/12/2014 22:32

WHAT!!

Charlotte deserved to win, in what other sport could you be Olympic, European and World Champion all at the same time and not be recognised? Sad

itspronounced - the music played by Nicola Beneditti was Loch Lomond.

KeeperOfBees · 14/12/2014 22:32

Oops,i only knew about his dad working on the railways and putting up for sale signs for an estate agent. Blush

Thanks Lewis!

Thanks Zukie - I figured it out by the end of the song, it was familiar but bugged me that I couldn't remember it! Beautifully played piece of music.

BeHoHoHove · 14/12/2014 22:40

Sir Chris's speech and Nicola Benedetti's violin playing were so lovely

awaynboilyurheid · 14/12/2014 22:41

Aww Jo should have won , driving is a hobby not a sport I've just said this on another thread. However I also know I know I am in a minority of one here but just can't see driving as a sport, get out the car and run (especially after having two kids) that's a sport, not giving someone a fast car and getting then to drive it.

zukiecat · 14/12/2014 22:43

She did play it beautifully, itspronounced and it's a very popular song here in Scotland, especially as sung by Runrig.
