She is bloody brilliant! Just want to drum up a bit of support on her behalf really. I would love her to do well tonight.

I'm voting Charlotte here, sorry!

carabos · 14/12/2014 17:24

Sorry sharon but you're wrong about that.

Christelle2207 · 14/12/2014 17:33

Jo here. Though Lizzy yarnold is fab too.

Flappingandflying · 14/12/2014 18:38

I'd really like a woman to win it and not bloody Hamilton or Mcleroy. Why there is always some sop to golf and F1 every sodding year seemingly. Pisses me off. Love Charlotte, Lizie, the skiers and Jo. Any of those although Lizzie and Charlotte have greatest levels of achievement.

Iwouldratherbemuckingout · 14/12/2014 19:03

I'm voting Charlotte - she's amazing

itispronouncedpenguin · 14/12/2014 19:30

I fail to understand why Gareth Bale is on the list. Its almost as though there has to be a footballer regardless. I'm a football fan but its ridiculous.

Lewis Hamilton has all the personality of a lump of concrete.

timtam23 · 14/12/2014 19:34

I will be voting for Jo Pavey, although I agree Charlotte Dujardin also deserves more recognition for her her achievements

spence82 · 14/12/2014 19:38

Its gonna be between Hamilton or mcilroy to win. Not a big fan of golf but McIlroy deserves it after the year he's had

EssexMummy123 · 14/12/2014 21:00

Was going to vote for Charlotte but am switching to Jo.

desertmum · 14/12/2014 21:07

sorry, Charlotte has my vote Smile

ginghamcricketbox · 14/12/2014 21:16

Rory Mcilroy is 1/4 favourite with the bookies, who rarely get these things wrong
The tax exile is 2nd fav, but not well liked
Jo could come 2nd but probably 3rd

meglet · 14/12/2014 21:19

Yes, I was going to vote for Jo.

I thought I was badass doing Race for Life when DS was 8 months Blush. Jo totally beasted it!

PitchWrapped · 14/12/2014 21:19

Charlotte is an incredible horsewoman who obviously has a special bond with her horse. I find her totally inspiring so i will be voting for her...just waiting for voting to open!

BeHoHoHove · 14/12/2014 21:21

The golfer will probably win.

Anyone else think Gabby Logan's dress is hideous?

Rivercam · 14/12/2014 21:23

I'm voting for Lizzie - she has been a good ambassador for sport

KeeperOfBees · 14/12/2014 21:29

Lewis Hamilton for me. Ignore the big bucks, his dad worked two jobs to get him a decent footing in go carting, and Lewis has been 100% dedicated since he was a young kid. He clawed his way to the top this year. Fully deserves SPOTY this year.

ChristmasJumperWearer · 14/12/2014 21:33

The segment about Jo was inspirational - loved the repeated references to breastfeeding on prime-time TV fuck you Farage. I'm about her age, with young DCs, and to see her go out there and achieve what she did is flipping amazing!

She clearly has a stronger pelvic floor than I after having two DCs.

MuseumOfHam · 14/12/2014 21:45

Voted! Go Jo! She came across really well.

standingonlego · 14/12/2014 21:58

Votes for Jo done Smile

itispronouncedpenguin · 14/12/2014 22:13

What was that beautiful piece of violin music during the eulogy section?

MovingOnUpMovingOnOut · 14/12/2014 22:15

You are not GetOrf!

Although I do agree about Jo. She's ace!

Rivercam · 14/12/2014 22:20

Never picked up on the b-feeding comments. Well done BBC!

Getoffmyland · 14/12/2014 22:26

She came third, not bad our Jo!!

itispronouncedpenguin · 14/12/2014 22:27

Sorry but its a 'personality of the year' award - Lewis Hamilton HAS no personality.
