Icke is crazy but he was right about Savile and child abuse. And I suspect he's right about the disappearance of kids like john gosch (v bizarre sorry).

I think there's a lot more to 9/11 than we've been told and my American niece tells me there are huge sections of Americans who believe it was an inside job. The sandy hook conspiracy is very odd, and there's something strange about the Boston marathon with all the fbi personnel milling about.

NASA did not get to the moon. They got to Mars. Now, the orthodox textbooks will tell you that a journey to Mars would take months and that radio signals would take a minimum of six minutes each way, and that's what they want you to believe.

But the truth is that they discovered a way of doing most of the distance through hyperspace a.k.a. the Fourth Dimension. And then they suppressed it to protect the oil companies.

And somebody, somewhere will take it seriously.

What gets me is that the Saville awfulness (even the morgue stuff) was spread over the net 10yrs ago. And hey presto, it was true after all. So I'm afraid I tend to believe the rest of that is leaking out including how high up it went .

If it hadn't been basically proved that Iraq was an illegal war based on lies, that too would be a conspiracy theory wouldn't it? Guess what? This stuff happens. I do wonder about the Twin Towers because the collapse has been explained adequatly however generally speaking I am not one for conspiracy theories.

It depends on what you mean by adequately. There are experts in the field who are sure it couldn't have happened the way it was officially.explained by other experts in the field. Quite inconclusive in that respect, I think.

Governments lie. But to believe all the conspiracies theories is to believe that the same Governments are enormously efficient. Which is something I just don't believe.

My conspiracy theory is that ever since 9/11 all news reporting is sensationalist/panic/we're all going to die/everything is at code red/everyone's at war. To be honest it drives me mad and I half wonder if it's to keep everyone down or to stop intelligent people from making well informed decisions about important matters and to stop them acting. the reporting that should be unbiased from the bbc and the times has even changed! Maybe it's the New World Order at work oooooohh!!!!!

I don't believe them all. But some incidents are seriously questionable. Nor do I think it's disrespectful to victims families. Nobody doubts they were murdered in the same way Sandy Hook theorists do. The question is by who exactly? To believe a government wouldn't murder it's own citizens is patently wrong. To send troops into illegal wars is as good as murdering them. Why is it such a stretch that the 9/11 victims were collateral damage? Just like Iraq having WMD's (a lie) as reason to go to war, so was 9/11...to justify war. And yes it does come down to oil. A nice handy pipeline through Afghanistan and then a handy war in a gulf state.

Yes, and there are other documentaries that eloquently explain how it couldn't have happened like that. It's just a fact that engineers educated to PhD level don't agree. Who's to say which set of experts are right?

I enjoy reading about and watching documentaries on conspiracy theories. I particularly enjoyed a recent one about 9/11 and 2 leading scientists basically did prove that the towers could have collapsed without explosives. I still think the US govt knew about it in advance though.

I think most of them such as the moon landings/JFK/etc we just don't know the full story so they seem like they can't be true.

The only one I keep coming back to again and again and really don't believe happened, is Sandy Hook. The amount of evidence is huge and investigators get shut down immediately. There are some good documentaries about it on youtube.

We spent a whole afternoon being shown "documentaries" and given "evidence" that moon landings were faked. Even very polite dd said "but uncle batshit-this is bollox"

Could have happened, in both towers, after burning for less than an hour? Buildings that were designed to withstand accidental aircraft collision because of their height? WTC7 falling because of fire? I've been there, on telly the buildings look widely spaced. They're not. You're a 30 second walk from other sky scrapers. Buildings which sustained very little damage. WTC7 was a whole NY block away. Quite a distance. A plane hit the Empire State during WW2 and burned for days without collapsing.

I don't think it's unreasonable to believe that cover ups happen far more often that we realise. Hillsborough has now been revealed as a cover up, but it's only down to the tenacity of the victims families that the truth is starting to come out. It would be quite naive to think that is the only conspiracy/cover up out there.

The 9/11 stuff is mostly bollocks, it was a terrorist attack end of. The collapse of the building is easily explained, the heat from fires, fuelled by aviation fuel weakened the buildings core until it couldn't take the weight anymore. I watched it unfold live with my mum, you could clearly see the South tower listing to one side above the impact zone and I can clearly remember my mum shouting "that's going to fall down in a minute, look at it!"

What I do find hard to get my head around is how the CIA didn't foil that plot in advance, remember this was planned for years. They knew Bin Laden would attack American interests, how the fuck did the biggie slip through the net?!
