Apart from the fact that she sounds like those cartoon ballerinas .

Never seen her in a film, 'cos the films she makes don't really appeal to me. Same with her husband, Mr Pitt I believe.

She's attractive, but in a normal sort of way.

She now says she doesn't want to be an actress anymore.

And is also sniffy about London "mansion tax", lol.

I'm just not getting the non-news about an averagely attractive actress truth be told.

I'm sure she's a fine person and good luck to her, but why she is on the news as if she was some latterday Mother Theresa, is beyond me.

She has made quite a variety of films you know. And is a UN Ambassador I believe. Hence why probably on news.

The work she has done and her efforts to publicise the hardship people face in countries at war is amazing. You might not like her as an actress, but she is on the news and respected because she has earnt it

i personally like her. shes a charity worker and regularly helps in african countrys. i think shes a solid 10/10 in attractiveness and i like her film specially tomb raider and girl irrupurted.
pitt is also a good actor i like them both.

She's stunningly beautiful, a great actress and married to someone who was once considered the sexiest man alive. She seems to be living what I can imagine is a life that a lot of people envy - maintaining a stellar career, while spending her time travelling the world with her children and balancing that with her charitable work. For a lot of women, she leads the ideal life.

Hmm. Angelina Jolie has made about 40 films, her husband has made almost 70. Over a hundred films between them. Are none of them of a type you might watch? Maybe you only watch foreign language films, or Korean horror? Or something.

I loved her in Gia right at the beginning. She's ace and stunningly good looking. And kind. I don't get this thread.

I hate the whole "sleb" thing, but as celebrities go, angelina seems ok. I don't really care if she buys a house in London though.

She does some very fine humanitarian work. She's won golden globes. She went through a double mastectomy because of her high risk of breast cancer, presumably so she can be around her six children. Amazing work with refugees. What don't you 'get' ?

It's weird that not one of the many types of films she has been in appeals to you. She has probably starred in something from every genre at this stage. Do you even like films?!

She seems like a good person, she does lots of charity work, she frequently visits refugee camps, she donated the money they were paid for wedding and baby pics to charity. As well as now being a director and raising 6 kids. Oh and she's an oscar winner. I wouldn't say there's many like her in Hollywood.

I think I get where you're coming from, OP. She seems a bit flat, bit humourless, dresses in mono, for effect, has an expressionless face that looks very injected. Out with her kids, she wears hugely high heels and seems to hold their hands the way I'd hold sardines.

I've seen her in a film with johny depp where she truly couldn't move a single facial muscle, can't recall the name of it, it was dire.

The main thing about her, to me, is that she's married to Bradley Pitts!

I'm curious about Angelina wearing black/white "for effect" - surely all movie stars choose their clothes for a particular effect? Why is choosing black/white a less good choice than colour? Why are high heels not allowed when being photographed with her children?

Anytime I've seen pics of her out with her kids she is dressed very casually and wearing flat shoes.
