I think she would do wonders for the country. Really wish she would cue milliband and be our next pm.

She has been pretty quiet recently, could this be because she is planning this?

Given a choice of Abbott or Farage as PM?

shoots self

KettleBelles · 26/11/2014 16:31

Yes, either Ed stays or she takes over. That would be my perfect scenario because neither of the incompetent pair could be trusted to sit on a toilet seat the right way round.

waithorse · 26/11/2014 16:32

Are you joking ?

OnlyLovers · 26/11/2014 16:33

That's so sad about Glenda standing down, but fair play, she's been working for a long long time.

formerbabe · 26/11/2014 16:35

Ha ha hysterical!! Diane Abbott as pm? thanks for giving me a good laugh op!

WetAugust · 26/11/2014 16:50

Why not pick one who is campaigning for good causes? Someone like John Mann the Labour MP who is determined to expose the paedophile rings?

I have much more respect for him than for a silver-spooned Milliband

silveroldie2 · 26/11/2014 17:26

Yes, brilliant idea - then we'll never have another Labour Government - works for me as a Tory voter. Mind you Ed is doing a grand job too - I'm trying to imagine what kind of idiot voted him leader.

WetAugust · 26/11/2014 17:29

I am amazed at the number of Labour leaning people who say they will not vote for Ed. 22 weeks to go, so highly unlikely they will change him now.

Len McClusky should have gone to Specsavers

WetAugust · 26/11/2014 17:30

You never know, he may grow into being a leader on the world stage. He's almost grown into his uniform now.

Thebodynowchillingsothere · 26/11/2014 17:34

Also I hate the way she bows her head and closes her eyes while she pontificates.

People who do that always look so fucking pompous.

Greengrow · 26/11/2014 18:07

Yes, a woman in charge would be good.
I think she has done exactly the right thing in sending her son to a private schools (City of London?). That is honest and the right thing to do. Good for her.

Cherriesandapples · 26/11/2014 19:02

I can do a really good impersonation of her though :-)

Thebodynowchillingsothere · 26/11/2014 19:03

Massive massive hypocrite and a racist to boot.

Should fit in well really.

WetAugust · 26/11/2014 19:04

Really? I presume the child was sent to a private school because the State school wasn't good enough.

Well that is a very sad admission of

A) failure of the administration of which you were a member to provide an acceptable standard of education for the children in your constituency ( whose parents, unlike you, could not afford to educate them privately)

Or

B) the local school was good enough, but you wanted to buy privilege.

Both points of failing as a Labour MP

ElfontheShelfIsWATCHINGYOUTOO · 26/11/2014 19:06

Why not pick one who is campaigning for good causes? Someone like John Mann the Labour MP who is determined to expose the paedophile rings?

God yes, someone who is putting their mouth where the money is, yes.

WetAugust Wed 26-Nov-14 19:04:09

YY and both points a clear illustration of why labour is not the working mans party anymore.

WetAugust · 26/11/2014 19:17

Funnily enough, she's in the Morning Star today warning of "violence on the streets". Scary

Daydreamersea · 26/11/2014 19:19

I've met her and no she wouldn't.

bloodyteenagers · 26/11/2014 19:31

Omg, really DA for PM?
You know she won a special award? Services to the media. Because of only doing anything if the tv/media were present.

When Harriet sent her children to a grammar school, she said this lol "She made the Labour Party look as if we do one thing and say another." But later sent her child to a private school. HArriet wasn't the only one that DA commented on about not sending children to non state schools.

Undeclared earnings.

Moaned about others and their expenses, and racked up a huge bill, in a year alone the cab bill was over a grand.

As well as the “white people love playing ‘divide and rule’” comment, she went on further to say that black cab drivers deliberately drove past black people

Then there's cash for keys..

Tiredemma · 26/11/2014 19:34

I dont like her. She has a 'smug' air about her.

HappydaysArehere · 26/11/2014 19:45

Come on Alan Johnson. Step up to the plate. We need you.

sammy90 · 26/11/2014 19:55

What racist things has Diane ever said?but the racist comments been directed at her is unprintable, and let's face it she is probably the best of a terrible bunch of candidates to chose from, they can't do no worse than our ed

LittleBearPad · 26/11/2014 19:58

Comedy comment that it's surprising that Hampstead has a labour MP. Have you been to North London lately. Champagne socialism is alive and well here.

On top of Dianne Abbott to lead the Labour Party - haven't they got enough troubles...

Alisvolatpropiis · 26/11/2014 20:43

You cannot be serious.

thatwouldbeanecumenicalmatter · 26/11/2014 21:07

I'd rather have Russ Abbot*

*No offence Russ.

Cherriesandapples · 26/11/2014 21:10

She was particularly racist about blonde blue eyed Finnish nurses.
