I've been reading the 'how often do you have sex?' thread.

The variation is massive and I'm jealous of those having it more than me but only if they're having decent sex!

Dp and I don't have a very good sex life atm - infrequent and unadventurous but we're hoping to sort it out.

Sooo - regardless of frequency, do you have good sex or does everyone eventually fall into the 'quick fiddle then piv routine? '

Sorry to be crude - just wondering what 'normal' is!

sex now is infrequent but lovely, (standard married, 2 small kids, working full time etc - mojo slowly coming back as they are nearly school age) but best sex was with a guy who, like a PP said genuinely got off on making sure I was having a good time - absolutely loved giving oral and even though its not normally my thing (I always get an image of a small animal snuffling around and breathing on me ) he could make me come SO hard like that. I really think ultimately it comes down to chemistry, with or without an emotional connection.

Dp loves doing oral but I just can't let go to let him.

When I was 17 my first boyfriend came out in weird sores all round his mouth - his mates maturely ribbed him about getting them from 'muff diving'

I've never had sores or anything down there so the sensible part of me says that's not what caused it and to relax and enjoy it but I can't! :-(

Well - I have you lot to thank. Sex life has gone from once every couple of months to much more regularly.

We've got a long way to go yet (still very vanilla) but I'm trying! We're still a bit uptight about talking to each other (him more so than me still) but I'm hoping we can spice things up a bit still :-)
