I am absolutely appalled. I really really hope this doesn't mean he will ever play for Wales. I will definitely be taking part in some kind of protest if that happens.

I think the men that would argue it's different if it were them would probably argue that because they aren't gay they'd never have consented to anal sex and that it's more of a grey area for a straight woman with a man.

This of course is nonsense and you could counter argue that if you were that drunk maybe you did consent to bum sex.

Again I take your point. I follow football only casually - England matches, high profile Premiership, a residual interest in the team supported by my dad.

I don't remember what's happened to them. In my memory, they did okay for a while because they were useful players. As I remember, Bowyer, who I think was also a Welsh international with feral teeth, continued to have disciplinary problems.

Who knows where they are now? Buy-to-let landlords, possibly. I remember the Liverpool chant of We All Live In A Robbie Fowler House.

I do remember that the one who came off worst in that case, that was blown apart by the blundering Sunday Mirror who were polishing their anti-racist credentials, was Michael Dubarry.

He didn't seem to have had much to do with the alleged assault other than being there. And was compelled to give prosecution evidence. And was slaughtered by fans for it. And was black.

Reading the statement though it sort of reads like:

I wonder how much of the decision to tell julien blanc to fuck the fuck off was influenced by the outrage caused by this convicted rapist.

Hopefully on a roll and it'll help give the children who have been victims of organised sexual predators in Rotherham/Elm Guest House/celebrities etc etc etc a slice of any justice going.

Everytime I read what Nick has said it makes me want to cry. How could he not comprehend the pure stupidness of what he had said?

The petition doesn't automatically log you in to facebook like they normally do, or am I missing something?

change.org doesn't have Facebook sign in I don't think...I may well be wrong though

Hmmm, I'm not sure what happens with that then, sometimes when I'm either emailed a change.org petition or click a link to one on here it gives me the option to post it on my fb timeline and/or invite all my fb friends to sign it.

I'm sure it just comes up with my fb details automatically without having to sign in to anything.

It's definitely the way to get a petition snowballing though.

Is your browser logged into Facebook currently? I'm on the phone (I do all my best work here ) and if I open the petition through my link on Facebook, I do get the option to share in a new post. If I open it through the link below it doesn't...I never log in through the browser on my phone.
