I have actually as I was discussing this case just the other day in my predominantly male workplace. All the guys were unanimous in condemning the rapist Ched Evans and the disgusting campaign of harassment his family and friends have waged against his victim. But then again, I don't work with a bunch of misogynist Neanderthals so...

Well, I told DH about the case months back, and his reaction was:

1. why wasn't McDonald prosecuted for aiding and abetting rape?
2. Evans just went off to have "a go" on his team-mate's "bird"? WTF?
3. his brother and friend filmed them through the window? WTF?

Diversion, diversion, diversion.

Can we please continue talking about the convicted rapist Ched Evans and how we feel that he should not be allowed to continue playing football at a high level?

I just find it so hypercritical that everyone is coming out in uproar about Evans when there are plenty of other footballers out there playing football after serving sentences for sexual assault and death by drunk driving... Where are the campaigns against them.. Marlon king fucking played for SU last year probably with Jessica and Charlie in the stands cheering.

This was a single high profile planned crime within the context of a group which gives it an extra nasty factor imo and as has been repeated so often he doesn't accept what he did was wrong and his friends have even hounded the victim.
