Is extremely rude and horrible to his wife?

I used to like him and find him funny. But over recent weeks I'm gob smacked at some of the stuff he comes out with. He tells June to shut up constantly and his comments about women are a bit off recently .

I'm watching it now on catch up and he's told her to shut it twice - and not in a ' jokey' way.

I've never seen the new bloke (im assuming you're talking about the family with the mass of big dogs) be rude or thuggish? Why are they "meat heads"? Just because they aren't like the two piss head posh ones.

Someone up thread said that Leon is a bit of a perv. That's exactly how I see him too, eww. But June loves him.

My favourites are the two black women, Sandy and Sandra. They make me laugh out loud, so funny and such good friends.

Programme makers if you're reading, please replace the lady vicar. She adds nothing except an excruciating pain when I see or hear her.

Love this show. I think it is because they are regular people whose everyday humour that makes it funny. Would have loved a daughter like the one who appears with just her parents, she can be really quick witted and at other times endearingly daft (but I wouldn't swap my boys - just saying).

Yes, Scarlet is very sharp and funny, and her Mum's no slouch either. But the family from Manchester, their place looks small and they seem to have four or five huge dogs! And they always have e a plate of cakes (jam tarts tonight) on the table.

I love Leon and June. It's clear he completely adores her. I love it when he says something inappropriate and she rolls her eyes and puts him in his place.
I read an interview with Leon where he talked about "marrying out" and the family issues this caused. This was obviously many years ago and must have taken a lot of courage.

Giles and Mary (the William Morris couple) are just growing and growing as the weeks pass by. I love them. Soooo eccentric.
