Is extremely rude and horrible to his wife?

I used to like him and find him funny. But over recent weeks I'm gob smacked at some of the stuff he comes out with. He tells June to shut up constantly and his comments about women are a bit off recently .

I'm watching it now on catch up and he's told her to shut it twice - and not in a ' jokey' way.

Reading a bit too much into it.
All couples have banter and teasing. I think they are fab! Doubt they would have been married that long if they didn't get on.
I love the show, who thought watching others watch TV could be so entertaining.

June & Leon do seem to have an odd relationship. Some of the things he says to her sound quite unpleasant but at other times he's the complete opposite and seems devoted to her. She does seem to spend an awful lot of time rolling her eyes at his remarks but at the same times never pulls him up on it.

Perhaps, as Worral says it's a generational thing.

Can't stand the two guys under the titty picture tbh, their conversation always sounds as if they're trying to impress for the cameras.

I was a bit puzzled when the programme was given some TV award or other - can't remember which one - and they were watching it on television for the programme.

Surely they would have been invited to the award ceremony. If so their 'surprise and delight' at the award was actually just acting after the event.

Makes you wonder just how real the rest of their reactions are; having said that, still love the programme.

Adore Leon and I did watch Friday's episode. He clearly adores June and their relationship works for them.

I really like the girl who is with her parents - the Moffatt family I think. She is very sharp and sees things for what they are.

I great programme. Well done Channel 4!

I watched Friday's episode. Leon and June adore each other. It's a bit of banter that's all, and don't forget it is an edited program. It's not real life.

My favourites are Steph and Dom and Sandy and Sandra. My friend was on a bus from Vauxhall to Brixton and the two ladies got on. He got talking to them and said his sides were splitting from laughing. And they posed for a selfie with him too! They seem to be a load of fun in real life.

I think June can give as good as she gets and that Leon plays to the camera.

If the award was for the creating and making of the programme then that makes perfect sense.

Would have been nice for them to have been there though.

I don't like the way he speaks to her either, and also the way he is about young girls.

Well june tells leon hes fat and he isn't allowed to eat x y z and she tells him to shh all the time. I think they are a great couple they make me laugh, the sadiqus are my fav family too they are very funny little baby siddiqui was adorable on friday,

I like Leon and June. I particularly like watching what he says about politicians.
I think what he says to June is just banter and she certainly gives it back when she is ready.

I like them all - it's the very different people that make the show so special.

Leon is my dad, basically. I liked the bit when just she gave him a phone for his 80 th, and he said "I don't deserve it! And she immediately replied "you don't! " and he replied" "I do."

I used to like Leon and June but Leon is grating on my nerves a bit now, possibly down to the editing, but just recently there has been an edge to his voice when speaking to June.

The vicar annoys the hell out of me and I'm not overly keen on the Tappers because of the whiney daughter.

I love those two, they are obviously a very happy and loving couple, she is a feisty Woman who is no pushover.

Loved Leon until recently. Hes getting a little to pervy. Absolutely love the siddiquis, the 2 sandras, posh drunks and the tappers (dad is a mnetter). Oh and the gay hairdressers. In fact I like all the original families apart from the family with the grown up kids and mum who is always knitting. Was very disturbed by their support for ukip during the last series and feel like they ate very contrived.

He's repugnant. YY to all you are saying and the fact he scratches his willy then sniffs his fingers afterwards. He actual makes my throat close with his "opinions", sexist attitudes, the way he speaks to June and his nose picking, cock rummaging/sniffing. Bleurgh!!!

Leggy dog is called buster love how his bits are always on show no shame, if you are on facebook like stephanddom parker they are hilarious, leon and june are a bit like a few of my aunts and uncles I think its been married for years and years that makes them like that.
