Aibu?

Had guests to stay last night. It gets mentions casually the next day that he sleeps naked, I laugh and say something along the lines of "only in your own bed I bloody hope!"
..at which point he gets a bit embarrassed and she says "he can't stand wearing pj's!"

We swiftly move on and I mourn the innocence of my pretty sanderson sheets.

Aibu to think you should at least wear undies when sleeping in someone else's home?

Or am I being a prude?

Sorry, public LOOs, public Loos. I don't go the toilet in public.

But surely over peoples arses have been all over them?

Jolleigh · 26/10/2014 19:53

It's not like they'd be hand washing them. The machine does the hard graft. I'd not think twice doing the laundry if a guest had had a nosebleed in bed, dribbled on the pillowcases and had a period leak all in the same night! I'm not rubbing the sheets on my face or drying my dishes with them, just stripping them off and putting them in the washer.

SirChenjin · 26/10/2014 19:53

I hover Clash. Thighs like steel.

MarianneSolong · 26/10/2014 19:54

So if I'm menopausal and having night sweats should I turn down any invitation to stay anywhere. Or should I wear the all encompassing bodysuit recommended so that no trace of my vile disgusting flesh gets imprinted on my hostess's fragrant sheets I shall undoubtedly a) have the most uncomfortable night of my life and b) sweat - sorry, glow- so much - that everything will seep through the bodysuit and drench the sheets so much to the extend I'd probably be able to wring them out by hand.

(Actually that's probably the real reason why some women wear the niqab. It's actually the proper, considerate outfit for when you're staying over with 'friends' and 'family.'

Mostlyjustaluker · 26/10/2014 19:54

OP did you provide towels for your guest after washing? The towels would have touched their naked bodies. Think I may have just freaked you out even more.

SirChenjin · 26/10/2014 19:55

I don't care if I'm just stripping them off and putting them in the washer - I would rather not be handling sheets with semen and fluids from an adult couple who couldn't control themselves for the night or 2 they are guests in my house.

SirChenjin · 26/10/2014 19:56

Comparing menopausal sweat to semen spill from a shagging couple is an odd analogy

StarlingMurmuration · 26/10/2014 19:56

I sleep naked too, as does DP... Even when I'm having a period. My periods are so light that I don't need pads or tampons at night, nothing comes out when I'm lying down.

If I'm staying somewhere with an en suite, I'd definitely sleep naked... I'd probably sleep in a short nightie if not, in case I bump into someone on the landing! No pants though, I don't know how anyone can sleep in pants or pj bottoms. Too hot, too binding.

Jolleigh · 26/10/2014 19:57

mostly has a good point SirC - how on earth do you deal with the guests' towels? A male guest will have dried his bum hole and balls on them.

SirChenjin · 26/10/2014 19:59

Will he have wanked off into the towel because he couldn't control himself?

Hatespiders · 26/10/2014 19:59

We clean a holiday barn with four double beds to change each time. If you're squeamish about body fluids or pubes, you'd never be able to do this job.
The sheets are white, so you can always tell what went on. Perhaps I could put up some notices as suggested above? "No shagging while using this barn. Sex prohibited. Please wear pyjamas at all times. Keep willies off the beds. All arseholes must be cleaned before retiring... Take your pubes home with you..."

SirChenjin · 26/10/2014 20:02

I chambermaided for a year while I was a student - can't say changing sheets fazed me as it wasn't my home, or my sheets, or my bed, and I wore gloves when I was cleaning for basic H&S.

Jolleigh · 26/10/2014 20:02

Let's say SirC that though he's not wanked into them, he may have had a sexy thought while drying himself and though he did refrain from doing anything about said thought, there's probably pre-ejaculate on the towel.

Jolleigh · 26/10/2014 20:04

Also, is sex permitted if they're quiet and leave their PJs mostly on, pulling them back up right after?

chasingtheegg · 26/10/2014 20:06

I have laundry baskets specifically for towels in the bathroom. Smile then I slingshot them into the washing machine like a ninja, having never touched them at all!

I'd actually be really sympathetic towards any period leakage, I can only imagine how mortified they'd be. It's something I really worry about.

Ha ha can't believe the angst about people sleeping naked and the fact you might have to TOUCH a sheet where an adults BUM had been lying.

Most as queer as folk eh?

I don't see it as a problem. You could always remove the sheet from the corner where likly no bum contact. Washing machine does the hard work!

You touch poo germs all day anyway - at work, in shops, on the tube.

abigamarone · 26/10/2014 20:08

If he'd worn pyjamas the poo crumbs would have travelled down the legs and ended up dropping onto the carpet, then getting ground in, they'd be part of the fabric of your house. He's done you a favour sleeping nude.

SirChenjin · 26/10/2014 20:08

I would expect him to put his wet towel into the laundry basket himself once his stay was over. Where else would he put it?

Jolleigh · 26/10/2014 20:09

Well yes, but the machine doesn't fill itself!

catgirl1976 · 26/10/2014 20:11

I'm not permanently naked, no Grin

But clothes etc are harder to get off when you are half asleep,
Much easier to just be able to.......well you know, wriggle on.

(I'm talking about the half-asleep-middle-of-the-night-lazy-shags here. Not the awake ones where the ripping off of clothes is half the fun which doesn't happen all that often post DS )

ChoudeBruxelles · 26/10/2014 20:12

I'm now worried that friends recently shagged in my sons bed when they ds me to stay for my birthday. Dad was at mil and he has a double bed so friends slept in there. What if their naked bodies allowed fluids to seep through the sheets and onto his mattress or they got spunk on a pillow or something Wink

catgirl1976 · 26/10/2014 20:13

Also - the pearl clutching over spunky guest sheets.........

When guests have left, you go in, whip sheets off bed, stick in machine on 90 degree wash.

You don't inspect them. You don't lick them. You just whip them off and stuff them in the machine.

So it really doesn't matter if there are dubious stains or naked bottom imprints. Who would even notice? Confused

catgirl1976 · 26/10/2014 20:15

Mind you, I once bought a black set of sheets, thinking it would look nice.

It was like something off CSI Miami after 2 nights Blush

Not for the faint hearted or the guest room, those.

Hatespiders · 26/10/2014 20:15

Oh I don't know... I always give our sheets a jolly good lick before putting them in the washing machine... doesn't everyone?

SirChenjin · 26/10/2014 20:17

Pearl clutching?

Is it bingo night?
