It's lovely in the Inn. Frequented by the feistiest and loveliest bunch of women I've ever met. It's not quichey at all. If women having fun, friendships and a laugh offends you then please just hide us. YABU.

We've had a rare old time! And in all seriousness some great friendships have been made and we are always happy for other people to join in. Why wouldn't we be? It's not like we are of the school bully mentality where we'd start a thread bitching about other threads we don't like or anything

We've had some fabulous meet ups and it's all been a pretty wonderful experience. It's nice having that little one thing in common and it sets the tone for humour and friendships.

Don't make it sound so good. They'll all want to join us and then the threads will last for 20 minutes instead of 3 days.

CuttedUp you don't know the half of it! I would echo dear Badders and Cin what's not to like? I see long running threads of those TTC, stop smoking, lose weight, good on them. I am pretty sure I can speak for everyone on the thread by saying our lives have been enhanced by it. Other threads are available. Chalet School not my cup of tea for instance. We've found somewhere where we fit in and we like it. Sorry not sorry for being so prolific. Now, have you met Vinnie yet?

1. some participants on the thread have been affected by sexual violence in real life and have been well supported and comforted by those on the thread. Therefore your silly 'rapey' phrase is both nonsense and very ill judged.

2. IF it was such a clique why does the thread continue to grow and have new participants? Not a clique but a lot of fun.
