Have you ever received a really strange response to a post on here?

I remember about a year ago posting about someone at work who talked constantly about her child, on and on and was I being unreasonable to find it a bit very annoying. I got the usual mix of YABU, YANBU, all perfectly logical responses. Then someone posted 'YABU. Maybe she's nervous', disappeared and never posted again on the thread Confused.

Just wondering what odd or illogical responses you've had to posts on here?

I'm quite sure I don't know what you mean.

PrettyPictures92 · 10/10/2014 18:07

Rose that was me taking it up with you, and zebra too :) You're contributing to the discussion, you can see I'm talking to you, you can reply :)

firsttimerose · 10/10/2014 18:10

No actually what you said was -

I think no one should bitch about specific people. "Nasty and prickly" was unacceptable, if you've a problem with someone take it up with them directly instead of slating them on a forum

But you just bitched about me specifically and slated me on a forum.

And I already did reply, I don't need your permission Smile

wooooosualsuspect · 10/10/2014 18:14

Bit different to going on another thread to bitch about you, rose.

PrettyPictures92 · 10/10/2014 18:14

I didn't bitch or slate you dear rose, if that's your view on bitching/slating I think you should perhaps take a look at reality. I simply said that continuing was pointless and childish. If I was calling you a moody hag who never had a kind word to say and were terrible to children and animals that would be bitching and slating :)

PrettyPictures92 · 10/10/2014 18:16

Bitching and slating - attacking ones character and being deliberately nasty about someone. Neither happened in my post :)

MrsVamos · 10/10/2014 18:17

Can we get back to the kinky websites please ?

My tiny mind is blown.

Comito · 10/10/2014 18:17

I saw a thread recently where someone who'd had the same tenant for 40 years needed to sell the house. One poster told OP she should give the house to the tenant.

PrettyPictures92 · 10/10/2014 18:20

MrsVamos I doubt it was minds being blown on the kinky website Grin

MrsVamos · 10/10/2014 18:31

Oooh, Pretty ! Blush

HappyYoni · 10/10/2014 18:35

So I've been at work all day, come home and find there are no new interesting words for my list on this thread.
I am disappointed guys. Diss. A. Ppointed.

Mintyy · 10/10/2014 18:38

That was extraordinary wasn't it, about giving the house to the tenant? I had a chuckle.

PrettyPictures92 · 10/10/2014 18:40

Happy cattywampus is a pretty interesting sounding word, it's a real word too Grin

Pagwatch · 10/10/2014 18:42

Oleaginous.

Don't know what made me think of that. But there you go Happy.

firsttimerose · 10/10/2014 18:42

Bitching and slating - attacking ones character and being deliberately nasty about someone. Neither happened in my post

You were deliberately nasty.

Comito · 10/10/2014 18:45

Mintyy wasn't it! MNers are all so wealthy that they can just blithely give away houses all over the shop, obvs.

PrettyPictures92 · 10/10/2014 18:47

Wine perhaps you need some rose, you're gearing up for a long and pointless argument that I'll ultimately win as I've nothing better to do than sit and mn whilst browsing kinky sites while you just get more and more wound up. And you can't deny you're not getting wound up or you'd have accepted the thread has already moved on and you're just trying to rehash things Grin

BOFster · 10/10/2014 18:48

I do find many of the contributions here to be meretricious, Paggy. Just saying.

PrettyPictures92 · 10/10/2014 18:50

BOF I had to Google that. Clearly mn is too smart a place for me...

wooooosualsuspect · 10/10/2014 18:50
HappyYoni · 10/10/2014 18:51

Oooh thanks pretty and Pag, those are fab words! I can now begin my weekend with my faith in MN restored :)

HappyYoni · 10/10/2014 18:52

And BOF. You lot know some excellent words!

BOFster · 10/10/2014 18:53

I only found out what it meant today

wooooosualsuspect · 10/10/2014 18:53

One of my favourite words is fracas and I quite like debacle.

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 10/10/2014 18:55

This is all just floccinaucinihilipilification.
