To be very miffed at this? (Friend related)

My friend phoned me yesterday and asked if I wanted to meet today in town for lunch. I said yes, and we arranged a time and place to meet.

Woke up this morning and she had sent me a text message saying that she can't make it now as her children are ill. She is quite flakey at times anyway, so these things often happen with her.

I have just seen that she has been tagged on facebook by another friend of hers, having lunch at the very place she was going to go to with me!!

AIBU to be highly pissed off and not meet up with her again?

She won't reply is my guess. People like that never do! They'll just go away for a long time and then return and never mention it again!! You'll get something very cheery in a month's time. Something like -

Hey babes!!! How near is Christmas eh?! Love your new FB pic! Fancy cocktails tonight?!

People like that never think they've done anything wrong.

Wow what a bitch!

Love that you commented though. Shame it looks like she isn't going to reply. I'd ditch her too.

Can't be bothered with flakes.

Unfriend her OP, I doubt you'll be losing anything.
