Smoking In my Garden neighbors banging?

Hey all,

Here's my issue whenever I'm not allowed to smoke In the house parents don't like It so I have to smoke In my garden however every time I go outside In my own garden for a cig my neighbors start banging the door in there garage (they sit in there garage, I really don't know what they do in there but they do)

What shall I do? It's starting to get on my nerves any advice?

also I live In a House there garden joins ours a fence is between us, even when I go outside not to smoke they still bang.. I really don't know what to do anymore, there Is a chance they can smell the smoke, but seriously I'm not allowed to smoke In public places, or in my house so were the hell can I smoke?

Also they are fairly close to as I said before only a fence between me and them.

Have you tried banging back? Or maybe get some saucepans and wooden spoons out and go for a percussion element? My son loves playing pots and pans bands. I bet you'd enjoy it too Smile

I'd put some headphones in and move away from the garage door, turn back to it and listen to current favourite album. Sorted.

To be fair though what kind of people would sit In there garage from 7am to pm everyday really? any ideas because I'm lost.

They got there door open and there's no TV noise coming from the garage..

SORRY ON side of neighbours here it really is horrfic, the smell does travel as an ex smoker i just didnt get how awful it is until i gave up.

your parents dont want the smoke in the hose, so people around you have to endure it.

ask them what the banging is for and if the smoke is troubling them, smoke somewhere else

I would suggest you give up smoking.

You are annoying your parents inside and you are annoying your neighbours outside.

The thing is, you need to understand that your smoking is annoying and unpleasant for others wherever you do it.

Is there a very large, deserted field nearby? That should be safe.

Of course you could just buy your own house and make sure you only live with other smokers, or live alone forever. Job done.

Why don't you try banging back? Like an echo.

I like you very much James, but sometimes it's 'They're' or 'their'. You can't just throw 'there' in to a sentence and hope for the best.

I'm enjoying this - you need to set up different versions of an experiment
eg - go out and read - do they bang?

  • go out and smoke 1 fag - do they bang?
  • creep out silently - do they bang?
  • smoke 10 ciggies - do they bang?
  • go out in your knickers and dance wildly - do they bang?
  • also what if you smile and wave at them cheerily?
I NEED TO KNOW!!!
