And thoughts on how midlothian will go flippinada? They're reporting Yes have lost west lothian but no declaration

*Slow -it's counties and big cities. Clackmannanshire is very small. Glasgow and Edinburgh are the big two and will declare late.

flippinada I think Midlothian has been mentioned as being fairly demographically representative of Scotland, so could be an important result.

Oh Orkney next. This is getting exciting. Thank you for the info on the first result, it makes sense. Interesting that it was a No as the education secretary is there, the SNP lady.

It's just a straight add up of the individual votes over the country. They're just declaring counts by region.

I think Midlothian will go no.

1. They did talk about Dundee on the Beeb just now. Lower turnout than elsewhere, interpreted as a blow for the Yes vote.

Why couldn't they do the counting during the day

So, genuine question. Assuming its a no vote, will Scotland actually get devo max? Or, as i suspect, will that kind of disappear...?

This is probably not the moment to admit that I'm not entirely certain I know where Clackmannanshire is.

Clacks is a tiny council just over river from Grangemouth. Mix of demographics.
