As title really, its tomorrow and chatting to him now, but its going to be a disaster. I've been sucked in by a pretty face. Am I being too picky?

Education are missing a marketing trick, though, aren't they?

Ext. shot of....ooh...Dave Cameron or Mickey Gove:

'Hey! You there! Are you a little bit thick or lazy? Too dozy for A Levels? Why not try a HND? They're really easy don'tcha know!! We practically give 'em away!

HND - not worth the paper they're written on (thumbs up to camera & cheeky wink)'.

Cue fanfare, streamers, pics of students with their jumpers on backwards or summat clutching rolled up bits of paper & grinning inanely at the camera. Or just off camera, because they're dim.

I thought tinder was an autocorrect thing when I read the title

Fair point MammaTJ Grin

Beastofburden · 14/09/2014 22:11

Maybe they could give a free subscription to tinder with every worthless BTEC and HND?

Obviously, only valid for ppl 10 years older or more than you.

Lifesalemon · 14/09/2014 22:11

letsfacethemusic So did I. You learn something everyday.
That's what I love about MN. It's so educational.

Minikievs · 14/09/2014 22:12

I wasn't going to comment on this thread as it is so obviously a wind up (must be?!?!) Adis Ababa made me wet my pants laughing!!!!

Fairylea · 14/09/2014 22:13

Isn't something called "fuckbook" the new tinder?? I read about that on a thread on relationships on here the other day. I met dh on plenty of fish. That was wild enough for me

Warbling it's been years since I was on the dating scene (I met my dh before the era of technology took over). I had to google tinder to find out what it was Blush. My friend's friend doesn't have the best track record with guys but the guys off tinder were in a league of their own (and not in a good way!).

iklboo · 14/09/2014 22:35

He may be the heir to the Baxters Soup fortune.....gets freebie tins as a perk.

LEMmingaround · 14/09/2014 22:36

Just get him to send a picture of his cock. Then decide.

Is tinder like the grab a granny night of a night club? Or is the term cougar these days? Im 43 and not too fussy.....

WarblingOyster · 14/09/2014 22:37

Sweets Be thankful for DH and your ability to avoid Tinder Grin it's ridiculous, I go on it occasionally to have a browse (it's basically a catalogue of men, choose the ones you fancy Hmm ) but some profile statements are basically 'just on here for sex, if you're down for that, swipe right' I'd rather stay alone for a bit longer Confused

WarblingOyster · 14/09/2014 22:38

No LEM hot young thangs like me are on there Wink

Agree with the cock picture. Does he stroke the shaft or let it lie? Envy

NoImaginationUsername · 14/09/2014 22:42

I really want a bowl of soup now.

I am sure I have an old tin in the depths of my kitchen. Just off to have a rummage around...

But Heinz Cream of Tomato with a couple of twists of black pepper and the crust off a fresh Farmouse loaf is tantamount to Heaven.... and I don't care whrre Berlin is when I'm getting my chops round that.

WitchWay · 14/09/2014 22:50

Heinz Cream of Tomato with a hint of Basil is much nicer

(will he know what basil is?)

LetsFaceTheMusicAndDance · 14/09/2014 22:55

I hope you mean fresh basil. Dried is a bit 'factory food' dontcha know Grin
