Cos I'm sure it is meant to be some time in September? There are lots of things that I really must know about the event when it happens. (Though I can't actually remember any of the specifics right now).

And then I will go out and try to find a life of my own . . .

It was you, wasn't it Marmalade??

Squoosh round my way you have to try and get away with NOT using it in a sentence. Wink

Tallypet · 11/09/2014 17:57

Yaaay!
I've also been missing prinny threads. Looks forward to update in a non brown nosing non PM fashion whilst wondering why some PPs are so pissy Hmm

squoosh · 11/09/2014 17:57

Is it region specific? I've never been penged before.

flingingmelon · 11/09/2014 18:00

How is 'peng' pronounced anyway? Not much of it round my local babygroup.

ChubbyKitty · 11/09/2014 18:01

It's definitely popular round here, I didn't realise until these threads that anywhere else used it.

primarynoodle · 11/09/2014 18:26

well its like pen with a g at the end.... but my accent makes it sound like pen anyway!

well its only a word ive ever heard in shotnottingham so im gonna say east mids?!?!

thing is it was a huge part of my vocab when I was 14 and now I am 'an adult' I cant always prevent myself from saying it before it slips out Blush

headlesslambrini · 11/09/2014 18:32

Oh no, I'm not marking my place at all.

TheXxed · 11/09/2014 18:33

Its pronounced Pah eng! I live in South London and the last time I heard anyone use it was maybe 5 years ago.

TheXxed · 11/09/2014 18:35

Actually its more of a hard P!

Wailywailywaily · 11/09/2014 18:44

I have no idea what this thread is about but I'm on the edge of my seat with excitement over an update! Grin

hackmum · 11/09/2014 18:48

Yes, I also want to know about Marmalade's cousin. Always the best threads.

And I see the OP is a fellow Ed Reardon fan.

kelper · 11/09/2014 18:50

Yay, am also going to shamelessly brownnose cos i LOVE these threads!!

lunar1 · 11/09/2014 18:50

Sad
0898 · 11/09/2014 19:16

snice · 11/09/2014 19:17

Everything is peng with the youth round here.
Unless it's 'bare peng' which is more peng than you or I could ever imagine

MarmaladeShatkins · 11/09/2014 19:22

I'm on my way! I've had a fuckton of things to do....

silverten · 11/09/2014 19:23

She probably has a life how very dare she

ChubbyKitty · 11/09/2014 19:25

Primary East Midlands over here! Grin

Sometimes 'mush' slips out at the end of my sentences. I try and limit it to cats, they don't judge as much Blush

Trills · 11/09/2014 19:28

Eh up chucks.

Tallypet · 11/09/2014 19:32

Erm marmshat MN rules state:

"When you have a trillion MNers awaiting an update is entirely acceptable, nay, mandatory that you foist your DCs on the nearest adult/pet/DVD for babysitting duties to update the mob"

True story. I don't make this stuff up.
