To not understand why people hate David Cameron and the Conservative Party?

Just that really.

I am a Conservative voter.

PM Cameron has disappointed me in some ways such as his lax approach to curbing immigration, deporting foreign criminals and addressing the alarming benefit culture but he has implemented a fair few positive changes.

For example:

Reducing our Debt.
Introducing Bedroom Tax.
Cutting corporation tax.
Frozen Council Tax.

Of you vote labour, why?

I am deeply concerned at the thought of another Labour government next election.

I was brought up to believe that we all have a responsibility to help those who can't help themselves, I'm lucky that I'm in a comfortable position to be able to do that but perhaps all of us should think "there by the grace of God" a little more often. Hell would freeze over before I'd ever vote conservative, my grandad would turn in his grave at the very thought!

chandalier · 07/05/2015 19:16

The common trait found in Tory voters is common sense and lack of ignorance.

SamVJ888 · 07/05/2015 19:19

And an I'm all right Jack attitude @chandalier

Grin Chandalier

Move the words 'lack', and 'of' in that sentence and you are spot on.

The bedroom tax is a disgusting bit of policy. People do end up paying extra money, as being told you don't need a bedroom doesn't mean a smaller home to rent magically becomes available.

I'm am genuinely intrigued as to why people vote labour. I know not a single labour voter so can't ask anyone in RL.
ROTFLMAOPMPL

  • ask the petrol station attendant
  • ask your cleaner
  • ask the shop assistant on zero hours
  • ask the Ocado delivery driver
  • ask the Amazon delivery driver
  • ask your hairdresser
  • ask the staff at the Nursery
  • ask the cleaner at your hubby's office
  • ask the car wash chap

in fact ask ANYBODY who is not so blinkered about the world around them to think that others think the way they do

oh yeah, and we immigrants are what keep the NHS, private school, private hospitals, private nurseries and Transport for London working.

ladymarian · 07/05/2015 19:32

Ugh your post depressed me OP!
so many things to dislike about the Tories. Helping the rich get richer with their tax cuts for millionaires, encouraging zero hours contracts and allowing big corporations to pay no tax whilst employing people on such contracts, victimising the disabled and the sick to try and force them in to work, thinking it's okay for working people to be so poor that they have to use food banks.

I assume u live in a little bubble in the South East of England.

TalkinPeace · 07/05/2015 19:35
