DH has painted one wall of our bedroom bright fucking yellow. This is grounds for divorce right?

It hurts my eyes.
I like white.
And grey. Grey is nice.

DH painted one of our grey walls bright yellow on a whim. I feel your pain.

It's certainly grounds for a frogmarch to B&Q and a day's interment in your bedroom with:

1. a pot of grey paint
2. brushes and rollers
3. the feature wall, with 'PAINT THIS GREY' scrawled over the yellow with grey marker pen.

However, I like yellow. So I would probably have been pleased...does depend on the yellow though.

That is a horrific eyesore. Is it a bedroom wall?

Didn't he consult you first? Having said that it takes about a year to decide on paint colours in our house. Consultation ad nauseam.

Fortunately my husband loathes yellow with a passion. Is it very bright?

Did he manage to move furniture and paint the wall all while you were out? That's pretty efficient.

Maybe the 2 of you should talk about your colour scheme. He clearly doesn't like your ideas any more than you like his.

Oh did I mention our floors are bamboo - so yellow ish?

He also managed to pick the one colour to clash completely with our ensuite, which is cream.

It is hideous.

I need to see the shade of yellow first, but assuming it's a nice one, I'd like it. A nice yellow is really cheerful. It'd be nice to wake up to every day.
