DH has painted one wall of our bedroom bright fucking yellow. This is grounds for divorce right?

One of the tattoo studios I used to work in was painted entirely in bright egg yolk yellow. It was like being in prison for a crime we didn't fucking commit. YANBU. LTB

What baffles me is that enough people (and op - sadly your dh is one of them) want to buy that colour of paint to make it viable to produce. Utterly baffling.

MissPenelopeLumawoo Depends on how the rest of the room is decorated. Any color can work if you pull it off right. My aunt has a yellow room with a purple couch ant it looks fantastic.

My mom has an odd arrangement of colored walls (teal, yellow, maroon, gold, silver, and blue) that with no furniture in it you'd be like . But with everything in them it's hard to think of a more perfect color scheme. We were all doubting her when she picked the colors out too, told her it would look hideous. It looks amazing. So..

70isalimit - the pink was the same kind of shade as the pink highlighter pens but not as shiny. He had also bought some pink and silver wallpaper to try out

He saw my reaction to the 4 pink walls and said he'd cover one of them with the wallpaper to make a "feature wall" out of it and then apparently it wouldn't look as bad....

It looked horrendous!!!!

Thank you Tikimon. I was sitting in my living room earlier thinking how good my walls look- so if we like it then it doesn't really matter what MN's thinks, does it? I think it sets off everything else really well. will go to B & Q tomorrow
