to feel sad about people's perception of having sons.

A random conversation in the staffroom at work, general chit chat about children. The mother of two daughters who go to the same nursery as my sons said "I'm sure your boys are lovely but I'm SO glad I have girls! Boys are just horrid!" then other mum's of girls started chiming in with comments about how generally noisy/smelly/disgusting/horrible boys are and what a nightmare they must be. I laughed it off, my boys can be a handful. What under 3yr old isn't occasionally noisy and dirty? However, watching my two sons sitting quietly looking at books together this morning, I'm filled with sadness that people actually perceive them in such a negative way.

One of my friends is just about to walk out on her husband and three kids because of an affair - what am I supposed to assume from that?

That she is a man in disguise? :o

HaroldLloyd · 23/07/2014 22:05

She must have a cock. Must do.

slipslipslippy · 23/07/2014 22:05

You still haven't answered the question - you're hoping your poor daughters will be lesbians?

I couldn't give a shit what they are. As long as they are happy.

And that happiness will come from being strong independent women who are not dependent on a partner for their happiness.

Of course women have affairs, that doesn't prove men are not controlled by their cocks.

HaroldLloyd · 23/07/2014 22:06

You prove it, all men are controlled by their cocks. Good luck.

slipslipslippy · 23/07/2014 22:06

"He'd tear you a new one" - Likes beating women does he? Sexual Fetish? Wink Grin

HaroldLloyd · 23/07/2014 22:08

I am beginning to think you are a teenage boy you know.

slipslipslippy · 23/07/2014 22:08

Have reported all the personal attacks btw.

5madthings · 23/07/2014 22:10

Shall report your Cleary goady sexist posts, they also promote rape myths as well, against talk guidelines.

HaroldLloyd · 23/07/2014 22:10

Maybe I'll report the goading, hang on, can't be bothered.

myotherusernameisbetter · 23/07/2014 22:10

so, the likes of Fleming while discovering penicillin was just taking a break from playing with himself?

KnittingRocks · 23/07/2014 22:10

Don't be a moron slip, you know that doesn't mean physical violence. Report away - quite happy for MN to delete all my posts. What I said still stands.

And you still haven't answered the question about your daughters being lesbians.

But then with a mother like you they're not likely to have their pick of men are they.

HaroldLloyd · 23/07/2014 22:12

He was just wanting to invent a cure for knob rot so he could have more sex.

Its horrible how some people judge boys, one mum once told me at the park after seeing my son covered head to toe in sand, water and dirt 'I couldn't bare it if I had a child like that, I rrally feel sorry for parents of boys, they are just a messy nightmare' she seemed somewhat surprised when I told her I felt sorry for children with parents with attitudes like that, and I hope she was never lucky enough to be blessed with a son!

Really grinds my gears when people judge like this, it is so sad!

slipslipslippy · 23/07/2014 22:14

Well Flemming discovered it by accident ... so who knows what he was actually doing while it grew.

Maybe he was wanking in the corner ..

ChickenNotQuiteKeeper · 23/07/2014 22:16

Oh fuck off slip, forgot it was the school holidays.

pommedeterre · 23/07/2014 22:16

Hah my girls love farts and burps, due a ds soon, v excited to have a son!

Shockers · 24/07/2014 17:46

So are you running a book on when your DH's knob will lead him away to the crotch of another woman slip?

My father, brothers, DH and sons are all exceptional human beings... as are my mother, sister, nieces and daughter.

DownstairsMixUp · 27/07/2014 17:56

slip never answered any of the questions did he/she? Just kind of... skirted round the topic. I'm guessing they have been banned? Men controlled by their cocks... LOL what a load of rubbish! And another story to blow your theory out the window slip, my mum walked out on me when I was 10 (for VARIOUS other men) and I am now closer to my dad. I don't often speak to my mum very much, especially about any personal issues and there is certainly no "special bond."

I'm reporting that for being one of the bitchiest comments I've ever read on here, Slip.

Slipslipslippy · 27/07/2014 19:13

If being a bitch was against MN rules, half the site would have been banned.

It's quite the nest of vipers doncha' know? Wink

myotherusernameisbetter · 27/07/2014 19:16

I was going to report too Oxford but decided I'd rather the post stay so that people could see what an awful comment it was and make their own mind up about someone who would say such a thing.

Slipslipslippy · 27/07/2014 19:33

Oh yes, being judged by strangers on the internet will have a devastating impact on my life.

Good call myotherusernameisbetter

myotherusernameisbetter · 27/07/2014 19:38

I actually couldn't give a flying fuck what impact it has on your life - but while you are on this forum at least people will be aware of they type of person you are.

Fortunately none of us has to deal with you in real life.
