Am I being unreasonable? DP say he will leave if I get an account I haven't had one for almost a year and all my family well most are living away from me so I hardly see them we have an 12 week old and he will leave if I get one?

He's going to leave you and his child if you open a Facebook account?

Why?

What a dick - I'd be packing his bag!

magpiegin · 13/06/2014 21:19

Surely if you want an account that's up to you. Is there more to the story? Have you had any previous problems with FB or are there trust issues?

HarrisonsMammy · 13/06/2014 21:19

I think it's jealousy he very possessive I think he's scared if another male tries to talk, baring in mind im18!

If he is serious then you carry on and let this idiot leave you and you count yourself lucky at your escape.

pictish · 13/06/2014 21:20

If this is for real then I'd far rather a facebook account than the sort of arsehole who thinks it's up to him to run my life.

softlysoftly · 13/06/2014 21:21

Seriously?

TheAmazingChandler · 13/06/2014 21:21

Why does he get to decide if you have FB or not?

CrapBag · 13/06/2014 21:21

This is not good or healthy and he will get worse.

He is trying to control you which in a normal relationship, shouldn't happen. You are allowed to talk to other men as you are women.

Don't let him control this, it will carry on and he will want to know your every move. Tell him to jog on.

magpiegin · 13/06/2014 21:22

I would get the account, if he leaves then see it as a lucky escape.

CloverHeart · 13/06/2014 21:22
Hmm
TheAmazingChandler · 13/06/2014 21:22

Surely you talk to men in real life. How is it different on FB? Not that there is a single answer to that question that would make it OK.

pictish · 13/06/2014 21:23

How old is he?

LuisSuarezTeeth · 13/06/2014 21:23

There's more to this....

How are you in general OP?

HarrisonsMammy · 13/06/2014 21:25

He is very controlling he will go in a huff if I want to go to my mams he won't let me wear low cut tops he checks my phone everyday I know it's wrong but he's all I've known for the past year and a half I find it hard to leave::

OP posts:
HarrisonsMammy · 13/06/2014 21:25

Oh Lord love, run for the hills, life could be so fantastic for you

ithoughtofitfirst · 13/06/2014 21:28

What.the.fuck.

TheAmazingChandler · 13/06/2014 21:28

Well staying doesn't look all that easy either. Leaving will be hard for a while. Staying will be hard forever.

WhereTheWildlingsAre · 13/06/2014 21:29

Open the account!

RedRoom · 13/06/2014 21:31

How dare he tell you how you may communicate with others. Tell him to piss off.

HarrisonsMammy · 13/06/2014 21:32

Everything's ok when he's happy and we do what he wants but as soon as it me that's asks for something he really doesn't like it!

OP posts:
CoffeeTea103 · 13/06/2014 21:33

You know all this about him so why have a child with him?

RedRoom · 13/06/2014 21:33

'Piss off' isn't good advice, upon reflection. He sounds extremely controlling and jealous. I'd certainly be thinking of leaving him though.
