...whilst on a public engagement must have either a) a screw loose or b) major exhibistionistic tendencies?

She has clearly made a policy of eschewing hem weights.

She knew she would be getting into a helicopter.

It looks like she is commando, although I suppose there is the possibility of a dental floss g-string.

I'm just Shock

I reckon one day we'll get a face full of fanny and suddenly it'll be all trouser suits for KMid.

Do you think? Not if William could think of someone to blame/sue.

OP posts:
FidelineandFumblin · 27/05/2014 10:01

I think the common sense answer is that every concerned citizen send her some of these c/o kensington palace; proactive and practical.

OP posts:
diddl · 27/05/2014 10:13

I think she does it on purpose so that she'll have to work be wheeled out as little as possible.

ExcuseTypos · 27/05/2014 10:14

She nearly flashed the front in Aus. I reckon one day we'll get a face full of fanny and suddenly it'll be all trouser suits for KMid.Grin the queen would have a heart attack!

FidelineandFumblin · 27/05/2014 10:16

I imagine it's working diddl - Excuse makes a good point - I hope the Queen is not too stressed today Sad

OP posts:
ExcuseTypos · 27/05/2014 10:31

Yes, the Queen has had Sarah and toe sucking, Charles and the tampax and now she's got Catherine's bumSad. She puts up with a lot that woman.

thecatfromjapan · 27/05/2014 10:34

oldgrandmama I love you and your tales of undie shopping. Don't you dare run off to Gransnet.

Am impressed at how much work you put into distracting yourself from UKIP palaver, Fideline.

FidelineandFumblin · 27/05/2014 10:54

True Excuse. I wonder whether she gets upset or just managerially annoyed?

thecat Too much time on my hands -sick leave Sad Anyway - I've embraced both now (UKIP landslide and Royal antics). Easier just to accept that the world's gone mad.

I am still of the view that the DofC is guilty of gross misconduct, but- hey - the quicker she brings general ridicule onto the house of Windsor the quicker the national embarassment will be over. I'm just sorry it's happening in HM's lifetime.

Was going to comment wryly on the pearl clutching at the sight of an arse but then remembered the old saying that "opinions are like arseholes - everyone's got one" which is pretty apt.

FidelineandFumblin · 27/05/2014 10:57

She can flash what she likes icecream what difference does one more exhibistionistic airhead make?

My objection is that we should still be expected to venerate and subsidise the woman.

OP posts:
diddl · 27/05/2014 11:00

If you want to wear a flimsy dress & no/skimpy underwear that's fine imo.

When you are representing the Queen & likely to be papped, isn't that the time you think "ah, maybe not today".

She just takes the piss imo.

TheFairyCaravan · 27/05/2014 11:08

How many more times is her dress going to blow up and flash her arse, before she does something about it?

It's all well and good for William to stamp his foot and have a tantrum when these pictures get published, but FFS it's not rocket science, put some weights in your hem woman! You've got staff, you don't even have to get the bloody needle out!

She gets right on my wick!

icecreamfloat · 27/05/2014 11:10

The Royal family has many faults, as does what they stand for. I just can't get worked up about a flash of arse.

harriet247 · 27/05/2014 11:11

Poor girl. I think its come to something when women are all berating another for not weighing down their shitting dresses with weights!is this 1940's or something?
How do we know it wasnt already weighted and she'd split coffee on it/baby sick etc and had to change last second?

Those paps will have be snapping her second by second to get that shot, if you imagine her as an ordinary person then it stops being amusing I think.
What if someone upskirted one of YOUR dds on a windy day and uploaded it online?
Any sane person would be furious and disgusted.
I feel so so sick that all the blame is being put on Kate, rather than the pervy men at the top of the press who ram this shit down everyone's throats. Its vile.

FidelineandFumblin · 27/05/2014 11:13

As Caravan points out icecream it isn't one flash of arse; it's habitual and apparently deliberate.

OP posts:
FidelineandFumblin · 27/05/2014 11:14

Do you go commando in windy conditions at work then Harriet? Confused

OP posts:
FidelineandFumblin · 27/05/2014 11:17

What if someone upskirted one of YOUR dds on a windy day and uploaded it online?

I am pretty confident DD would have the sense to wear trousers and/or underwear if getting into a helicopter. (One less thing to worry about Smile)

summertimeandthelivingiseasy · 27/05/2014 11:18

Does anyone know where you can get decent knickers from these days (oldgrandmama's assessment of M&S one is highly accurate)

One flash is an accident, 2 flashes careless. Three flashes, is getting beyond unprofessional (assuming this is her profession)

diddl · 27/05/2014 11:18

No one upskirted her.

Was just paps papping!

TheFairyCaravan · 27/05/2014 11:20

It's not an "upskirted" shot, the person with the camera is behind her, the wind blows up her skirt just as they take a photo. They would have known it would have been gusty because they had just got out of a helicopter and William was a helicopter pilot, so it wasn't as if it was an unusal thing for him!

I don't care what year it is, she went to Australia to represent our Queen, so she should not be flashing her bare arse. If that means weights in her hem, dresses made out of heavier fabrics or bigger knickers, then so be it!

FidelineandFumblin · 27/05/2014 11:21

www.whatkatiedid.com/ is good for vintage summer, but not cheap. It is what i'd wear to engineer a marilyn moment though Wink

FidelineandFumblin · 27/05/2014 11:23

Not a RF fan on principle, but don't like criticism of women based on what they wear/don't.

Problematic to pick and choose which archaicisms apply to a single woman I think madrigals

OP posts:
FidelineandFumblin · 27/05/2014 11:27

But I agree with diddl and Caravan - upskirting did not happen.

We pay for security to make sure it couldn't happen which makes her job of keepig herself decently covered at work fairly easy really.

heraldgerald · 27/05/2014 11:28

She has a lovely bum. I think she goes a long way to redress international opinion that British women aren't all that hot.
