To tell friends their baby name is a well known kids TV character?

Friends are having their first DC soon. We were talking about names and one that they had settled on is the name of a character from a very well known kids TV show. Think Peppa Pig, Thomas the Tank Engine, Fireman Sam.

First name and surname the same, BTW.

Obviously they don't have DC so they don't watch kids TV yet. I wanted to tell them but DH said it would be really rude. Maybe in a few years this show won't be watched as much, but it's pretty popular so idk.

Well I think it's fair to say we can eliminate anything over 25ish years old.

I'm guessing it does have to sound like a real name, so Zing Zilla etc probably out :o
The surname would have to be widely known, so Dora out and Charlie and Lola.
My guess is Mike Knight (though Michael not very popular any more and actually doesn't sound that obviously a cartoon character) or Ben Tennyson.

If I ever get pregnant again DS2 will be called Scooby Doo.

I suppose he's not a major character, but well known enough that it was the first thing I thought of when she said it. And my DSes are not that into Peppa Pig really.

She's finding out the sex in a couple of weeks. If it's a boy I think I'll have to tell her. I think there's an actor called Freddie Fox too?
