DP was admitted last week and moved to HDU last night. They don't know what's wrong. He has fluid on belly, some kind of infection and impiared liver function. There is talk of moving him ti ICU. We seem to be waiting on endless tests. He is 35 we have a three year old and I am 7 months pregnant. I need him . Please tell me your positive stories of recovery from these situations.

I am so sorry. My son died just over 3 months ago from cancer. It is horrendous watching your loved one suffer, horrendous to watch them die. There are no words to help you but please know that you have many people thinking of you and many of those have suffered devastating loss. My surviving son keeps me going - you will do for your dd and bump.

Sending you much love xxxx

And you too, Minmooch, sorry for the loss of your son, you are an inspiration, helping others at their time of need x

PassTheCakeitsbeenatough1 · 09/06/2014 00:01

Been thinking of you and your family, came to give my best wishes and then I read your update. I'm so sorry for you Gro, I don't know how to express how sorry I am. Hold your DD close, you are needed more than ever. Please don't give up, you have been so strong. Take very little steps and rely on those around you.

You are in my thoughts and prayers xxx

steff13 · 09/06/2014 00:15

I've been following, but haven't posted. I'm so sorry for your loss. Both of my parents died from cancer. My father just a month after being diagnosed. It's so horrible. You and your babies are in my prayers.

emmeline7725 · 09/06/2014 13:16

So very sorry for your loss x

Tinpin · 09/06/2014 13:54

I too am so very sorry .
Having gone through this recently with my own SIL I'm sure PIL are being as supportive as they can, but they have lost their child. My own PIL have tried to be so brave but the toll on their health has been enormous. I hope that as a family you can grieve together and help each other. Once again I am truly sorry.

Lovethesea · 09/06/2014 22:13

So, so sorry for your loss Gro.

minniemagoo · 10/06/2014 12:21

Also thinking of you Gro.

thegreylady · 11/06/2014 10:21

I don't think gro will come back to the thread but I hope she takes some comfort from all the messages of condolence. She has such a bitterly hard time to face. I just hope her baby and her dd bring her some joy and hope for a future.
