DP was admitted last week and moved to HDU last night. They don't know what's wrong. He has fluid on belly, some kind of infection and impiared liver function. There is talk of moving him ti ICU. We seem to be waiting on endless tests. He is 35 we have a three year old and I am 7 months pregnant. I need him . Please tell me your positive stories of recovery from these situations.

Grobags, I have been watching your thread but had nothing positive or useful to add. I am so sorry that this has happened, that you have lost your lovely husband and your babies their daddy. I hope you have people who can take care of three of you, you have to be mummy and daddy now so take all the time and help you can. Know that so many are thinking of you and wishing they could help.

All I can offer is to hold you in my thoughts and prayers.

daisydotandgertie · 07/06/2014 22:14

I am so, so sorry. Your loss is heartbreaking.

If you need to talk I absolutely know how you feel, my DH died of cancer last year. I am glad you stayed with him, he will have taken great comfort from knowing you were there.
