Ok ok I know it's a good cause. I'm pissed off because

  1. no one has nominated me thus making me realise I don't have any decent female friends, and

  2. these selfies don't do any one any favours, aesthetically speaking, I know that's the point, but it makes me recoil a bit when all these gormless shots appear on my fb news feed.

I'll happily donate but please can this be over now......Hmm

Having had breast cancer myself at a young age I am pleased to see anything that raises the profile. I hope it will get young women to check themselves regularly. Early detection helps improve outcome and if they donate. Double bonus in my eyes. But Gee do I look rough in mine.

It's raised 8 million. That is bloody fantastic. I can't argue with that.

I've seen a few now and have cringed too.

What's the point? Is it a vanity exercise? They presumably wouldn't post a bad picture so are they saying "Look how gorgeous I am?"

And if it's supposed to be embarrassing, like a forfeit, shouldn't others be sponsoring you to to it? Why post and donate yourself? I honesty just don't get it.
