It's been one of those weekends on here. I wanted to get in with this one first, before someone else did. Grin

I wanted to spend time with my children Hmm
DS told me to go away as he is studying and DD was shagging her boyfriend with company .
Mumsnet is all I have (sadface)

HotDogHotDogHotDiggityDog · 03/03/2014 20:30

I spent far too much time on one thread yesterday I ruined the dinner.

DD was not impressed I served her rocks instead of roasties.

I usually lurk more than I post, but for some reason I've been addicted to MN for 2 days.

ConferencePear · 03/03/2014 21:33

My poor little waifs are playing barefoot in the street. I wonder if they're cold ?

daisychain01 · 03/03/2014 21:33

See what I mean I forgot he's DSS not DSD

Caitlin17 · 03/03/2014 21:34

Mine is 23 but I do spend too much time here.

KittensoftPuppydog · 03/03/2014 21:39

Fuck! I forgot to have children!

HoneyDragon · 03/03/2014 21:52

Daisy

You need to start a thread asking where your car keys are before you look for them.

I'm a great mum and ensure my DD is kept busy with a long list of chores. that I should be doing but it frees up time for more mumsnet

My being on mumsnet ensures that she benefits from being adept at all household duties and will make some man a very good little wife when she's 18 Grin

growingolddicustingly · 03/03/2014 22:21

I have arranged some oranges artistically in a wooden bowl so my housework is done (thank you Shirley Conran). Time to perv look at the Musketeers thead.

SoleSource · 03/03/2014 22:37

Have you changed the newspaper from under them? It does need doing regularly I find.

HadABadDay2014 · 03/03/2014 23:34

Are you supposed to put newspaper down Confused

MetellaEstMater · 04/03/2014 02:49

Who?

blueberrycupcake · 04/03/2014 03:24

It's 3am. I'm breastfeeding dd2 but you're right. I should be stimulating her more. I'll put the lights on and start singing songs.

ginbin54 · 04/03/2014 07:12

My dc are 22 and 18. They don't need me to look after them any more (sobs quietly). MN is my only outlet ....

Pottytrainer · 04/03/2014 16:37

Too busy to respond I'm afraid.

Beastofburden · 04/03/2014 16:44

I have drugged my children into a stupor so they are unaware of my MNetting. When they awake there is a little pile of pure sugar beside each of their Xboxes, they will be fine.

Besides, being on MN stops me sleeping with all the young men in my road.

The house is not neglected as I have illegal immigrants cleaning it, taking jobs for brits who are even now sitting at home on massive benefits.

MistressDeeCee · 05/03/2014 09:34

OH is at work. DD1 at Uni, DD2 at college. Im self-employed, work from home. Freely admit during the last few weeks have done almost sweet f.a. in the mornings apart from breakfast and 1 hour of resentful housework. & not too much in the afternoons either. I get like that when the days are brighter. Minutes before everyone arrives home my brow is furrowed, glasses perched on my nose, work screens open MN screen minimised, as hard evidence that I haven't had a minute to myself all day...
