It's been one of those weekends on here. I wanted to get in with this one first, before someone else did. Grin

DC are in school, it's the house I feel sorry for.

Normally come on here when the DC are occupied.

RustyBear · 03/03/2014 09:50

I feel sorry for blue, bald children...
Grin

ThePost · 03/03/2014 09:50

Feck, I forgot about the kids...

Pigsmummy · 03/03/2014 09:53

My carpets are neglected, DD is fine, clean, happy and loved.

HoneyDragon · 03/03/2014 09:53

No blue bald children here, or ones with a glued face due to falling over but that's because she is at preschool so I shall continue my argument thanks and sit here sadly thinking of your children Sad

Now hang on one goddamn minute!!! what do you mean, one of those weekends? I have concientiously neglected my entire family for the whole weekend to be here and i certainly didn't notice anything untoward - have i missed something???

Gileswithachainsaw · 03/03/2014 09:54

I love your thinking kim :o

Stinklebell · 03/03/2014 09:55

Mine are at school.

It's me you should feel sorry for, I'm going to get such a bollocking from my college tutor when he realises I've done fuck all

HoneyDragon · 03/03/2014 09:56

Won't someone think of the college tutors? The poor neglected tutors Sad

He's 8 months old! He can look after himself! Can't mollycoddle them forever!

YarnyStasher · 03/03/2014 09:57

Baby is sitting on the filthy floor shouting happily to herself and watching the washing machine go round. DS is at nursery thank god. I'm ignoring the housework having toast before I head off to work with DD.

If I wasn't MNing I'd be doing housework or crochet and the baby would still be left to her own devices.

DC are older, it's the house that suffers here too!

Benign neglect......its the new Dr Spock parenting style. Kids thrive on it YABU

Stockhausen · 03/03/2014 10:00

But I was told that sticky floors & mucky windows meant happy children!?

I saw it on Facebook, so must be true!

IamInvisible · 03/03/2014 10:00

DS2(17) has gone to school and DS1(19) is in bed, it's the ironing I'm neglecting!

Sallyingforth · 03/03/2014 10:00

Bugger! I was supposed to collect them from school on Friday.
