to be angry at the dog groomer who shaved my dog's coat

I took my cockapoo for grooming at Pets At Home in Brentford and discussed the grooming. The groomer checked my dog all over and was happy there was no matting and we agreed how short the fur was to be cut. I was then asked to sign a form. However, when I returned 3 hours later to collect the dog I was angry to discover the groomer had shaved all my dog's hair off and disingenuously suggested she was full of matts. My dog is now barely recognisable.

Have seen a topical message on another forum this morning. FM's friend's Golden Retriever got accidentally pregnant at doggy daycare but "luckily it was by a show registered poodle so she can charge a fair price for the puppies".

Can we have a emoticon please MN?

I hope that your dog gets over the hair cut soon Op!

We met a lovely little cocker / poodle puppy in the park - he looked mainly cocker, not poodle, just slightly curlier than you might normally get - apparently the owner's in-laws also had a pup from the same litter - and theirs had the poodle coat, didn't shed - unlike the one that I saw that shed all over the place, but had a lovely silky coat... Luckily they hadn't bought him based on his supposedly anti-allergic qualities.

We also met (on another occasion) a man walking his wife's dog - he told me it was hers Grin. He said it was a Pugzoo. and then he suggested it might be a Shitpug. Grin

Im thankfully yet to come across a bulldog x Shih Tzu....

My groomer has had the audacity to go off and get herself pregnant and she's taking a year off. How very dare she!
I have a scottie and in these parts you don't see many of them so getting recommendations is difficult. He'll be due a cut next month and at present I have no idea where he's going Sad

Loki I have, genuinely, come across adverts for Bull Terrier x Shih Tzu puppies...and yes, the vendor had labelled them as you'd expect...

select I'm not at all surprised tbh. I'm guessing they commanded a fair price as well.
Our local paper is full of cross breeds lately, I'm guessing in these parts it's the in 'money making' thing. Some are genuinely being advertised at over £1k a pup.
Currently someone is advertising a 'Maltipoo' at £650 justifying it by saying "Mum was £1500.Dad was £800". There are several Cockerpoo's at £600+, a 'Colweiler' which apparently is a "proven breed for loyalty and intelligence", Jackerpoo's, Sprockers and a Shihcav.

Problem is pure bred dogs have health problems, you are essentially risking the worst traits of both breeds in one dog.
