No, don't. Have some water or tea and get some sleep.

littlewhitebag · 01/03/2014 21:44

No, not every one is the same but three bottles of wine, on your own is not normal and very likely to make OP feel ill tomorrow. Just trying to be helpful.

Ange1104 · 01/03/2014 21:46

It's not advisable to open another bottle and your decorating will probably be shit.

There.

Now put the kettle on and put the booze away.

MargotLovedTom · 01/03/2014 21:49

Too late was the cry.

Alisvolatpropiis · 01/03/2014 21:49

White wine is the devil. I have such a poor tolerance for it. That and I used to be friendly with a woman who would get in from work, drink a bottle and not consider it "really drinking".

Most of my drunk tales all took place in the two year period we were friends.

LucyBabs · 01/03/2014 21:49

I was only joking little

Enjoy your 3rd bottle op, sore head Tommorow Grin

Ange1104 · 01/03/2014 21:50

Just dont fall over and break your neck, rendering you paralysed from the waste down.
Happened to a good mate on a bender Sad

CinnabarRed · 01/03/2014 21:52

Actually, I'm a bit concerned for you OP. I don't think it's a good thing that you can drink this much.

StickEmUpBigStyle · 01/03/2014 21:52

Waist oops

thenightsky · 01/03/2014 21:52

two bottles alone is seriously hardcore, even on a full big dinner. Don't open the 3rd. You know that awful toxic, shaky feeling will be with you all day tomorrow.

Paloma12 · 01/03/2014 21:52

I can't see how this isn't indicative of a drinking problem! the fact that you have this level of tolerance is a problem in itself!

StickEmUpBigStyle · 01/03/2014 21:52

cinn :(

Ange1104 · 01/03/2014 21:53

bloody hell stickemup! will clear all hallways lol!!!!!

fromparistoberlin · 01/03/2014 21:53

i would DIE after 2, let alone 3, and i like wine, well used to till i turned 40 and get hangovers that KILL

stop it OP

you will waste a nice child free day

MargotLovedTom · 01/03/2014 21:53

Me too Alis I used to be fine with it, but since I turned 40 I can't drink too much of it otherwise I have my head down the toilet all the following day. I self regulate with red so much better, and rarely have more than a couple of glasses.

Getting old emoticon.

StickEmUpBigStyle · 01/03/2014 21:54

Yea, ange, do it. I am not joking.

MargotLovedTom · 01/03/2014 21:54

X post Paris. The dreaded 40 where everything goes downhill!

littlewhitebag · 01/03/2014 21:54

Oh, okay then. I am no angel and have had my fair share of nights on the vino but they are usually social nights with friends. I don't think i could be bothered drinking that much by myself. I am having wine tonight but DH is picking up DD from a party later so not drinking. It isn't as much fun drinking by myself.

GiniCooper · 01/03/2014 21:56

Holy fuck, no.
I'm on my second glass of Pinot noir and already feeling woozy.

Your painting will be shite, no amount of winky smiley faces will take away that horrible drunk feeling. Plus tomorrow and Monday and half of Tuesday will also be shite.

Minifingers · 01/03/2014 21:56

There are quite a lot of binge drinkers on mn who think poisoning themselves with large amounts of alcohol is funny and 'hardcore'. Hope my kids don't do it, and if they do, hope they grow out of it quickly.

Margot

I'm much better on red and the heavier rosés.

But every now and then I do have to tell myself "you are 25 years old, you should know better than to have that one last glass of wine". Not least because it's really because I should have stopped before having the glass that made me think "just one more" was a good idea to start with.

My tolerance to spirits is very different, probably because when drinking say vodka and coke, the alcohol isn't the majority liquid in the drink.
