In not usually a Joey, I will share food however...

I've bought a few multi packs of chocolate. My oh has put them in the fridge.

Why?

Depends on the chocolate.

Like Cadbury button must be kept in the fridge so I can let them melt in my mouth

ineedabodytransplant · 10/01/2014 17:32

I actually prefer most chocolate from the fridge. Gives it a bit of crunch.

Except for the Lindt chocolates I prefer them gooey

SkinnybitchWannabe · 10/01/2014 17:32

I don't like room temperature chocolate.

I only eat it chilled or better yet out thr freezer.

candycoatedwaterdrops · 10/01/2014 17:33

YANBU, it's super unreasonable to eat anything other than room temp chocolate.

MrsTerryPratchett · 10/01/2014 17:33

OP, you are right, DH and everyone else on this thread is wrong.

MrsTerryPratchett · 10/01/2014 17:34

Except candy

MinesAPintOfTea · 10/01/2014 17:34

Chocolate can only go in the fridge if the house is overly hot (ie midsummer). Its best at a cool room temp.

starfishmummy · 10/01/2014 17:34

Yanbu. I don't like fridge cchocolate.

TeeBee · 10/01/2014 17:34

Yanbu. You cannot get the full flavour from chocolate if it's cold. True fact.

olibeansmummy · 10/01/2014 17:35

Yabu chocolate is so much nicer from the fridge!

Lj8893 · 10/01/2014 17:36

I quite like fridge chocolate, or room temp, or freezer. Ill eat chocolate whatever temperature Grin

My dp can only ears freezer chocolate!

PinkLemons · 10/01/2014 17:38

I prefer room temperature. However, I now live abroad and have to keep it in the fridge.

Stinklebell · 10/01/2014 17:39

YANBU

DH and I have big discussions about this. As far as I'm concerned chocolate should never be put in the fridge, it just tastes plastic and cold to me.

LinghamStyle · 10/01/2014 17:39

Yanbu!

SeraphinaSparklePants · 10/01/2014 17:41

YANBU. My DH does this, also. It's wrong, all wrong.

Marcelinewhyareyousomean · 10/01/2014 17:42

I'll clarify the wrong doing, it's multi packs of bars as follows:

Naice dark chocolate plain dark and with salt
Individual bars of twix and drifter
Small Caburys aka in Marcelline Towers as 'little d'. - 110 cals of fun.

Everything has been put in the middle drawer of the fridge. I'm doing the not drinking in January thing and this has ruined my post work cuppa. Angry Brew

This would last me months, clearly he intends to eat a hearty portion. Confused

Bettercallsaul1 · 10/01/2014 17:44

I never have chocolate long enough for this to be an issue.

Bettercallsaul1 · 10/01/2014 17:46

The ideal place for chocolate is in my tum.

MarjorieChardem · 10/01/2014 17:47

YABVU! Chocolate should be frozen. End of. Wink

Rhubarbgarden · 10/01/2014 17:50

Yanbu. I have never understood people who put chocolate in the fridge. Weirdos.

MrsTerryPratchett · 10/01/2014 17:50

In your face chocolate fridgers. We room tempers are right.

SofaKing · 10/01/2014 17:53

Yanbu. Although it is a great idea for me as currently I'm on a diet, I will have to tell dh he can resume being vile and put all our choc in the fridge from now on.

LyndaCartersBigPants · 10/01/2014 18:00

I like it cold, but not the twix, that's just wrong.

BackforGood · 10/01/2014 18:02

YANBU - chocolate only goes in the fridge in a heatwave / if you are abroad somewhere very hot.

MrsBennetsEldest · 10/01/2014 18:07

All dark chocolate should go into the fridge except for Terry's Choc Orange which should go in the freezer( individually wrap segments in foil).
Milk chocolate and the vile white stuff is best at room temp.
I keep my gin in the fridge too, saves watering it down with ice.
