In not usually a Joey, I will share food however...

I've bought a few multi packs of chocolate. My oh has put them in the fridge.

Why?

YANBU, if it was meant to be cold shops would keep it in the fridge, and lots of bars nearly break your teeth when they've been chilled!

CaptainHammer · 10/01/2014 18:14

Cadburys in the fridge, galaxy in the cupboard!

CeliaLytton · 10/01/2014 18:15

MrsBennetsEldest how on earth do you crack open a chocolate orange, separate each segment and then re-wrap in foil without most of them somehow finding their way into your mouth? That's willpower!

Geckos48 · 10/01/2014 18:15

YANBU in this weather.

Chocolate loses some of its flavour if it is not served at room temp

but in the summer or a hot country YABU

Snatchoo · 10/01/2014 18:16

YABU.

Because I like chocolate from the fridge and I don't care what anybody else says about it!

BoneyBackJefferson · 10/01/2014 18:16

what does "joey" mean?

BillyBanter · 10/01/2014 18:17

You are right. Fridge chocolate people are wrong.

CeliaLytton · 10/01/2014 18:17

OP YANBU

Marcelinewhyareyousomean · 10/01/2014 18:17

It's a revelation that some put chocolate in the freezerHmm . I guess it could been much worse.

I keep my gin and tonic in the fridge. I have lemon and lime slices frozen into ice. I like very cold things, not chocolate though.

I was horrified the first time I saw XH with chocolate in the fridge, I'd never seen anyone do that before.

No one I know has ever put chocolate in the fridge (apart from XH and his family), the fridge is not the place for chocolate.

Marcelinewhyareyousomean · 10/01/2014 18:18

Joey (from Friends) doesn't share food.

SoonToBeSix · 10/01/2014 18:18

Because chocolate is not that nice unless cold.

BoneyBackJefferson · 10/01/2014 18:19

Marcel

Thank you :)

CaptainSweatPants · 10/01/2014 18:19

Can someone explain the chocolate in freezer thing?
Do you suck it like toffee until it melts in your mouth ?

candycoatedwaterdrops · 10/01/2014 18:20

Never galaxy at all, tastes like wax! Cadbury for the win!!

YANBU, my DH insists on putting all chocolate in the fridge too, yaaack. Room temp for the win.

CockBollocks · 10/01/2014 18:25

yadnbu

moominleigh94 · 10/01/2014 18:25

OH and his family puts everything in the fridge.

We have all our chocolate in the cupboard but I'm a recent convert to fridge Kitkats. KitKat chunkys belong in the cupboard, four-finger kitkats belong in the fridge.

Marcelinewhyareyousomean · 10/01/2014 18:25

For the record:

Chocolate OUT of the fridge
Cadbury beats Galaxy

I need to rethink my attachment, oh is the opposite.

I'd rather have Green and Blacks etc.

OP posts:
OrangePixie · 10/01/2014 18:37

Your DH is correct and you are wrong, and quite mad.

MrsDavidBowie · 10/01/2014 18:39

Has to go in the fridge for me otherwise I can't eat it.
That's why I'm never tempted to have chocolate when out, as it's too warm and soft.

I like my wine at Siberian temperatures too.

Marcelinewhyareyousomean · 10/01/2014 18:52

Booze must be Baltic; it is known. Not red wine or whiskey, on this oh and I agree.

We are debating Chinese (me) out Indian (him).

Sparklingbrook · 10/01/2014 18:54

Always always in the fridge. Nothing worse than sweaty soft chocolate. Chocolate Digestives always in freezer,

MrsDavidBowie · 10/01/2014 18:58

Am gagging with you sparkling.
No chocolate stains on my fingers, thank you.
