Benedict Cuminmysnatch just kissed a woman after breaking through her window.
I never have anything nice happen like that to me.

LetUsPrey your link made me come over all school girlish.. Grin

waterlego6064 · 06/01/2014 13:54

Heartbroken - I'd forgotten some of those very funny bits so thanks for the reminder :)

One thing I had never really noticed before all the hair ruffling and face clutching kicked off, was BC's delicious hands. I am very grateful to the hair ruffle for bringing those to my attention.

TheOneWithTheHair · 06/01/2014 14:20

Oh yes. The hands!!! They make me come over all peculiar.

Thurlow · 06/01/2014 14:45

His feet too. There's a bit in one of the earlier episodes where he is massaging a sofa arm with his feet. For someone reason that made me go all teenagery too.

helenthemadex · 06/01/2014 16:22

Swoon that is all

ummingandahhing · 06/01/2014 16:27

Ahem. If anyone wants to see Rupert Graves in much younger, hot gay action, then I would recommend Maurice. Grin

Coumarin · 06/01/2014 17:08

How did I miss the hair ruffle part 2? Hmm Thankfully the internet had plenty of places I can replay it over and over again catch up.

Ajaney · 06/01/2014 17:15

It was 90 minutes of pure 'Sherlocking' bliss. I also fear next sunday as it means no more Sherlocking, an indeterminable wait for the next series and I reckon Mary is going to meet some sort of 'end'......

frizzcat · 06/01/2014 17:36

WHAT THE ABSOLUTE FUCKITY FUCK. And yes that did require shouting - why is there only three episodes? Who decided that? More importantly where do they live?

When's the next series?

I also think Mary will meet some grisly end.... She's too perfect, not only has she wooed helped and healed John Watson but she quickly won round Sherlock. That kind of perfection can only mean death, so that John and Sherlock suffer in their failure to save her.....
Shame though I quite like her character...

Also with regards to the Cumberbatch ..... Well it would be rude not to, and I am a girl who prides herself on manners. Wouldn't be rude to Freeman either

3 EPISODESAngry. Oh I wish MN would put a Sherlock hat on their emoctions

FrankelInFoal · 06/01/2014 18:14

Sherlock has only ever had 3 episodes per series. Because they are 90 mins long making them is like making a film. Plus as Benedict and Martin have got more and more in demand it is harder to schedule filming around their other commitments. Odds are series 4 will be on screen in early 2016 Sad

Heartbrokenmum73 · 06/01/2014 18:18

Two years!?! Until the next series. I'm not sure I can wait that long - I suspect I will be watching Series 1-3 on a loop until then.

I think the BBC should sign all involved in Sherlock into a binding contract that says they aren't allowed to make anything else until they've made every Sherlock story written (and maybe some more written by Gatis et al).

FrankelInFoal · 06/01/2014 18:19

BTW, did anyone hear Steven Moffat on Radio 2 this morning (on Chris Evans' show at about 8.40). He admitted that next Sunday's episode will be a massive contrast to the previous 2 episodes.

Heartbrokenmum73 · 06/01/2014 18:21

Ah, balls, knew that would be the case - it's been far too fun n fluffy up until now.

Someone's going to die, aren't they?

FrankelInFoal · 06/01/2014 18:22

If anyone wants to see BC in the flesh, he's signed up to play Hamlet on stage in the West End later this year. No news on tickets or dates yet, but it's sure to be in demand.

Plus he's got at least 3 film projects out this year: 12 Years A Slave, August:Osage County and The Imitation Game.

Heartbrokenmum73 · 06/01/2014 18:31

BC in the flesh! Not sure I'd manage to get through the whole play without coming over all unnecessary - wibble...

HRHwheezing · 06/01/2014 18:33

starts to squat at any London theatre

I saw David tennant as hamlet. I think I need to see both to compare.

Sherlock is filmed mostly in Cardiff, my busband's friends owns one of the flats that they came out of. I'm sure I could be a willing and able tour guide.

helenthemadex · 06/01/2014 18:34

just so you know series 1 and 2 is only £9.99 on dvd in the BBC shop so you can pause and rewind at your leisure I have spent far to much time perving BC

Heartbrokenmum73 · 06/01/2014 18:35

Don't they film Doctor Who in Cardiff too? It must be where Stephen Moffat and Mark Gatis practically live these days!

I would love to see BC in Hamlet, but it ain't gonna happen, with the price of tickets and travel.

Oooh, maybe we should set up a MN theatre trip and get group discounts on the tickets and hire a coach! and 'phwoar' to our heart's content

Who's in?

TheOneWithTheHair · 06/01/2014 18:38

Don't know about Dr Who but they filmed the spin off who's name escapes me right now with Jack Harknessin Cardiff. What was it's name?

Heartbrokenmum73 · 06/01/2014 18:39

Torchwood Grin

TheOneWithTheHair · 06/01/2014 18:46

Yes!! Thank you.

DropDeadThread · 06/01/2014 18:50

Oh Hamlet is my favourite Shakespeare and BC will be a marvellous tortured soul and hot too so I'm in Grin

LetUsPrey · 06/01/2014 18:54

Thurlow did you get to see the hair ruffle link?

I do have a particular thing for BC's hands - as well as the rest of him - but seeing as some of you have mentioned his hands, I shall post this. I'm sure your imagination can do the rest Grin

FalalalalalalaFiggy · 06/01/2014 18:55

The bonfire scene in last weeks ep was filmed on Bristol and they've done some in Cheltenham this year not spotted where though.

The swimming pool at the end of season 1 was also Bristol. I had heard about Cardiff being a location but not managed to identify any of that either!!

SirChenjin · 06/01/2014 18:58

Did anyone listen to the interview on R2 this morning with Steven Moffat? BC's parents in last nights episode were played by his real parents.
