To think the new squeezy bottles of Hellmans are shit

Is it only me that finds the new squeezy bottles of Hellmans completely shit?

After about half way down the just seem to suck air in, crush inwards and refuse to dispense any mayo.

Yanbu. They are awful.

Totally with you! And they are deadly, one fell out my fridge the other day and almost took my big toe off! I got my own back though hacking it to bits with a bread knife to get the other half of the contents out.

I chopped mine up with scissors today! They are evil!

They jump out of my fridge too. Weird.

Hellmans is crap though. Heinz mayo is where it's at. It's being flavour.

If I bought golden syrup in a squeezy bottle I'd probably drink it like a baby bottle- I love the stuff!!

I bought one when they were on special offer. Never again - bloody rubbish!

I like them in one sense, they make mayo application on sandwiches easier, but, has anyone else noticed that often you get a horrible watery bit that comes out initially? I know that can be solved by shaking the bottle, but then the mayo isn't at the bottom where it needs to be to come out properly.

plastic squeezy aldi mayo bottles = great.

Heinz mayo = the work of the devil it is gross

They are utterly shite - and very very wasteful 'cos you can't get half the contents out. What's more, they have this nasty habit of spitting out the mayo - so you get multiple splatters all over the table/wortktop/your clothes (which are a complete pain to get out).

They are, indeed, shit. Bloody annoying.

Have you not discovered aldi mayo yet? It is heavenly and the squeezy bottle works great. Once you've had aldi mayo you will never look back.

The heinz tomato ketchup plastic bottles are exactly the same. Do the manufacturers not test them?

I think I tried the aldi one years ago. The lidl one tastes more like salad cream though.

They are rubbish. Quite literally in this house. Have reverted to jars.

Thing is, I actually really like the fancy flavours - like lemon or caramelised onion - and haven't found any other brand which do flavoured mayo (other than impossibly expensive stuff in a posh deli).

I was always a die hard "has to be Helmann's"! person....but now I buy Aldi's one and it's lovely. They do squeezy flavoured ones too. I go through the chilli one in about a week

I was about to say they're fine but have only used it twice so not yet had the issue of half of it been stuck in. Maybe its a ploy so we buy them more often.

I've just tried the mustard mayo which is yummy.

That was my downfall catsmother I tried the black pepper one at one of those in-store tasting things and loved it so bought some but threw half the bloody bottle away today because it refused to squeeze.
