To think the new squeezy bottles of Hellmans are shit

Is it only me that finds the new squeezy bottles of Hellmans completely shit?

After about half way down the just seem to suck air in, crush inwards and refuse to dispense any mayo.

YANBU. Ours fell out of the door pocket, hit me on the head and the huge lid smashed as it landed on the floor. Serves it bloody right for hitting me on the head.

I made the fatal shake and squeeze at the same time mistake- it farted everywhere- never again!

While they're at it, can they also get Sun Pat to redesign their crappy jars that are deliberately designed to waste half the PB because it's stuck in the stupid bulgy bits.

Wierd isn't it. You'd think someone would TRY them before setting up a whole production line and distributing them to every shop in the land.

Crapola. A jar and a spatula for the last scrapings is all the technology I need. Is it just a ruse to get more Hellmans sold because you have to throw away the last inch?

Also horrified that anyone could think that Heinz is nicer . It's really horrible and if I get served it in a restaurant I get in a right grump.

The old bottle was Ok until you got about half way, so I thought it was just a ploy of theirs to make you waste loads, but it's not even good at the beginning now, it squirts rather than squeezes and sprays everywhere except where you want it to go.

I complained about them via the website and was sent vouchers. It's jars now for me.

How wierd that they jump out of fridge doors. I thought it was just me.

Currently have one lying on shelf as lid broke off.

Only bought it as it was half price - knew from previous experience I will only be able to get half the mayo out.

Delighted with reccommendation of alternative flavoured aldi one - that will be cheaper too

it must be the shape of it the huge bottle top and the thin middle that makes them fall out

Do you think that the manufacturer (Unilever) will read this and do something about it? I would like to think that they would.

Agree - they are crap & always fall out of the fridge when I open the door.

I hate them. And I also hate the jars- make them short and wide ffs so you can get a knife to the bottom!

Hellmans mayonnaise is just shit, it is tasteless wallpaper paste pap.

Lidl own variety is passable, as is Aldi's, Delouis Fils is quite nice, but my favourite is Benedicta which I buy in bulk every time we visit france.

Waitrose did sell it briefly but it vanished as suddenly as it appeared.

We do get some odd looks in the supermarkets on our last day - with 20 bottles of squeeze mayonnaise, 20 jars of strawberry jam, gallons of wine and 30 packets of little emmental crackers.

An update - I complained on their website about the fact that their bottles jump out of the fridge, and they wrote to me and sent me £3 of vouchers so I can buy more fridge-jumping mayo.

YANBU I have stopped buying them now. Too stressful.
