If you allow your young DC to become morbidly obese then it should be treated the same as if you'd starved them.

This link is really upsetting. I hate seeing young children that are incredibly overweight. It is, for me, the same as seeing children that have been underfed. When children are young they do not get to choose what they eat, they are given their food by their parents.

I understand that as children get older then controlling what they eat when not under your supervision is impossible but at this age it is just appalling.

How much of a better place to live in would this be, if we all just walked around and didn't actually think anything? Why does it have to bother anyone about anyone elses weight, height, face, hair, who the hell cares, why can't we all just get on with our own lives , my daughter is 10 years old , she has prada willi syndrome, it doesn't just make her over Weight and short for her age, it's also caused learning and behavioural problems, I joined here to try and find some advice because I am at my wits end with what we her parents and her brothers and sisters are going threw living with her and her condition, and people staring at her making me feel like shit when we are just trying to Injoy a day out, and your all just as bad on here, here's what we have to deal with, she's eaten out of the bin, drank cooking oil, drank a full bottle of Calpol and needed to go to hospital, she steals food, hides food, eats from school bins, she's constantly starving, were constantly depressed and at the end of our rope with her out of control tantrums, why Dont everyone just mind there own feking business, aslong as your own kids aren't fat, it would make my life that little bit easier without judgmental idiots gorping everytime I have to go out anywhere,

Zombie thread. A lot of effort to go searching that out to have a pop at people posting in Dec 2013.
