NC (not for this) but I'm long-standing MNer (Pom bear, naice ham...)

This might ruin the whole concept of AIBU but sometimes people pop up with opinions that I am shocked by, not because of what they are but just because they are so marginal. (SPs Cliff Richard obsession, for example?)

So, whilst encouraging you all to go forth and spread your weird and wonderful thoughts all over AIBU and elsewhere, what really unpopular opinions do you hold?

I have a couple of corkers, first one is that Kanye West however much of a knob he is actually is a genius.

I don't hate Michael Gove.

tethersend · 20/11/2013 22:34

I also hate chocolate cake.

And I love Rod Stewart

SPsWouldCatFishNev · 20/11/2013 22:34

no but who wouldn't want this on their wall

gamerchick · 20/11/2013 22:34

I can tell that as well minifingers it's pretty easy to spot the difference. Plus ff babies look more 'dried out' than bf.

Course I would never say that IRL. I've known babies that weren't fed properly and we're removed.. as long as they're fed thumps in my head.....

VerySmallSqueak · 20/11/2013 22:34

Oh,damn and blast it.

danone that link was bloody brilliant!

Weeantwee · 20/11/2013 22:35

Stawberry icecream is the most revolting food.

usualsuspect · 20/11/2013 22:35

Everyone hates Paul McCartney.

That's a popular opinion.

SPsWouldCatFishNev · 20/11/2013 22:35

Gravy is rank. It shouldn't be allowed. Same with tomato/brown sauce

Prince Harry is gorgeous

Weeantwee · 20/11/2013 22:36

VerySmallSqueak · 20/11/2013 22:36

cloggal · 20/11/2013 22:37

People on benefits should be given food vouchers and not money. And DSS should go back to paying the rent direct I have no problem with people on benefits as long as they don't have more Sky channels than me, a better phone and a bigger car!

gamerchick · 20/11/2013 22:38

I feel a bit judgy at that mother who drives her kid to school and she lives closer than me. It takes me 7 minutes to walk my kid to school.

And the super large one who takes a bus for a 15 minute walk on the school run.

I keep both of those thoughts to myself.

thenightsky · 20/11/2013 22:38

Jack Vettriano is NOT an artist.

Musicals are cringe-worthy.

Mumsnet was at its best about 7 years ago.

cloggal · 20/11/2013 22:39

Grin usual

The last chapter in the book The House at Pooh Corner is so sad to me that I refused to read to my dc when they were growing up.

usualsuspect · 20/11/2013 22:40

I'm up to page 4 now.

Opalite · 20/11/2013 22:41

People who would like to see people in benefits being controlled EVEN MORE than they already are are either extremely insecure, brainwashed or maybe just cruel

StarlightMcKenzie · 20/11/2013 22:42

People who pay to privately educate their children or for private health insurance should pay luxury tax.

SPsWouldCatFishNev · 20/11/2013 22:42

People who are over 5foot 5 should be classified giants

GobbySadcase · 20/11/2013 22:43

Ok then happy. I'll give the motability car back and get some shit pile that I can't fit 2 wheelchairs in.

Good enough?

Fuckinell the bigots round here...

MoominsYonisAreScary · 20/11/2013 22:43

FeckOffCup · 20/11/2013 22:45

Little boys look silly with long hair.

EggsandBake · 20/11/2013 22:45

happycrimble, how the bloody hell am I supposed to pay my electricity bill or the bus fare with food vouchers? Am I allowed to take my child swimming or buy him something from a charity shop?

MoominsYonisAreScary · 20/11/2013 22:45

Do people really have shit lists? I've always wondered

where do you keep them? And do you ever change your minds about a poster Grin
