NC (not for this) but I'm long-standing MNer (Pom bear, naice ham...)

This might ruin the whole concept of AIBU but sometimes people pop up with opinions that I am shocked by, not because of what they are but just because they are so marginal. (SPs Cliff Richard obsession, for example?)

So, whilst encouraging you all to go forth and spread your weird and wonderful thoughts all over AIBU and elsewhere, what really unpopular opinions do you hold?

I have a couple of corkers, first one is that Kanye West however much of a knob he is actually is a genius.

tethersend · 20/11/2013 22:19

I'm a teacher and disagree with homework.

Salmotrutta · 20/11/2013 22:19

I wish you had been there Different when my DD was suckling blood and projectile vomiting.

You'd have been such a comfort. Hmm

Actually I don't know why I singled out Christmas films. I hate all films. Well pretty much all except Pixar/animated ones, or starring Hugh Grant or Mike Myers. I can't think of a bigger waste of time than sitting watching films. The cinema is overpriced except Harry Potter 3D and as someone said earlier The Lord of the Rings books shit all over the tediously long films - I suffered watched the first one. That's 3 hours of my life I'll never get back. And people who do movie marathons on a Sunday. Give me strength. How mind numbing. I have the attention span of an 8 year old.

Tethersend. Snap. Hate homework for many reasons.

KoalaFace · 20/11/2013 22:22

SPs you are fun and young enough to get away with everything you mentioned the Cliff thing is ironic no?

Gileswithachainsaw · 20/11/2013 22:22
SPsWouldCatFishNev · 20/11/2013 22:23

Koala The cliff thing is because he is a very photogenic person and I appreciate it Grin

VerySmallSqueak watch this and tell me you don't feel even a tiny tingle at 4:07!

TheDietStartsTomorrow · 20/11/2013 22:23
  1. I don't like animals. Keep your dogs, cats and gerbils far away from me.
  1. Downtown Abbey...? What's the big deal? It's mediocre.
  1. Most obese people are fat because they eat too much and eat the wrong type of foods. They're greedy. Nothing to do with genetics or medication.
Minifingers · 20/11/2013 22:24

I think you can often tell the difference between exclusively breastfed babies and exclusively formula fed babies just by looking at them. At least I can. It's something to do with the way fat is distributed around their bodies and the shape of their mouths when they open them.

KoalaFace · 20/11/2013 22:25

That actually made me smile then SPs! And I'm in a very grumpy mood!

VerySmallSqueak · 20/11/2013 22:26

SP is he please say he is fully clothed in the poundland calendar?

(I still have flashing images of that bare chested picture of him you kept linking to a while back. Shock )

SPsWouldCatFishNev · 20/11/2013 22:27

No idea, I didn't get chance to look. Just his big face on the front.

BadLad · 20/11/2013 22:27

Nobody over the age of six should be allowed to wear a onesie in public.

Football and cricket should be compulsory viewing, with state-subsidized attendance at matches at least once a month.

These are both policies to be implemented when I come to power, and England becomes the Democratic Dictatorship of Badladistan.

Oh, and not a policy, but an unpopular opinion. My feet give off no smell at all.

cloggal · 20/11/2013 22:29

SPs Grin
Do you usually buy his calendar? Is he usually clothed?

CremeEggThief · 20/11/2013 22:29

I don't like Indiana Jones or Harrison Ford!

Holamum · 20/11/2013 22:29

I admire Heather Mills (not for her controversial situation with Paul McCartney, which I thought was a bit crazy, but for getting through the ordeal of losing a leg and doing interesting things with her life despite her disabilit, like that dancing show she did and skiing in the parlympics with one leg etc.)

iklFaceOfBooe · 20/11/2013 22:30

Chocolate cake, chocolate mousse, chocolate ice cream & hot chocolate are 'orrible.

BadLad · 20/11/2013 22:31

Chocolate cake is horrible?

Grabs pitchfork

fifi669 · 20/11/2013 22:32

I hate Paul McCartney. (It annoys me my phone knew to capitalise his name), he clings onto every occasion, it looks like his face has melted and the Beatles weren't that good. And Madonna. If they won't retire gracefully they should be lined up and shot with a single bullet through them both.
