To ask what unpopular opinions you hold? (Lighthearted)

This might ruin the whole concept of AIBU but sometimes people pop up with opinions that I am shocked by, not because of what they are but just because they are so marginal. (SPs Cliff Richard obsession, for example?)

So, whilst encouraging you all to go forth and spread your weird and wonderful thoughts all over AIBU and elsewhere, what really unpopular opinions do you hold?

I have a couple of corkers, first one is that Kanye West however much of a knob he is actually is a genius.

That it should be ok to talk about gifted children without feeling you have to down play their abilities so as not to make other people feel bad.

Yes to the pandora hate. I just don't get why people all want to buy the same overpriced tat. And shamballa (sp?) bracelets. Why!?

I also think cannabis should be legalized and regulated, and that there should be some sort of compulsory genetic test to decipher whether you're likely to get any drug- induced mental illnesses. Obviously in this fantasy land if your rest came back positive you were allergic and that would be that.

I also think buy-to-let is just a way to help the rich get richer and to price the working class out of the market. I would vote for the first political party who wanted to ban it.

I also agree with the elderly having to sell their homes to pay for their care and get the rage when anyone utters the phrase "paid my taxes". Unless you're in the FT top 100 you've probably taken a lot more from the system than you've put in.

Well, I don't like the school marms on here who assume that people have name changed to state an OPINION. Put me on yer shitlists all you want. If this here thread is your idea of contention, you have really lead gilded lives. For that you should be grateful and should be pitying us unenlightened folk (cue banjo, moonshine and some good old fashioned shit kicking).

Strictly Come Dancing is boring.

Competition is actually not damaging to children and if you believe it is then your kids are in for a world of trouble when they go out into Real Life.

Having people round for drinks/supper is just that - it is not "entertaining". Entertaining is singing/dancing/juggling etc. stop saying "entertaining" unless you do any of the above.

People who watch sport are unreasonable and dull, in fact even playing team sports as an adult is immature.

If you can call someone you don't even know a c*nt I think your parents didn't raise you properly.

I think the country would be better off if it had 20 million fewer people in it. And I'm starting a list of the ones I'd like to see gone and most of the people on TV reality and talent shows are on it.

I think preserving the countryside in the South is as important as new houses for the country.
