AIBU to think he should call it quits? His face is full of plastic and his movements are stiff. He's certainly never been a Mick Jagger but Mick still has the energy and fire of a 30 year old, despite looking so haggard (and we all know why THAT is).

It would be unthinkable for Cliff to retire, he'll probably go on for another 40 years but I do think while he's still "got it" he really should come out - spectacularly and with huge fanfare.

Lip service, If he actually cared about charity he would have released the single with his own money and given all proceeds to charity, not made sure he paid himself and everyone else and then popped the rest of the cash in a bloody collection box.

it reminds me of Paul Mcartney (of all the Beatles to survive why do we have to put up with him) who did a 'charity day' on his London tour and gave the profits of one night of his tour to charity. Then David Gilmour came forward and pointed out that Macca is one of the richest people in the world and could afford to give the proceeds of the whole tour to charity without telling anyone, which is what Gilmour does, lives comfortably and gives the rest of his cash away because he doesnt need it.

I hate that ilk of pop star, who piggy-back on charity to make a buck and particularly those who make themselves the poster boy for Christianity and then sell versions of the Lords prayer, ffs.
