I miss Spangles and Toffos (especially the multi-flavoured ones), and Dracula Ice-lollies and Cabanas -oh, and more recently, Galaxy hazelnut bars which have been replaced by caramalised nut sickly ones, and piglets and smax. Why do they discontinue them? WHY?

Texan bars...I adored them! They did make a brief comeback a few years ago - but they weren't them SAME!!

SugarSpunSisters · 12/11/2013 18:17

Highland toffee bars.

No wonder I've got stumps for teeth Grin

Dawndonnaagain · 12/11/2013 18:25

Old English Spangles, Blackcurrant Toffos and Sweet Tobacco!

HouseAtreides · 12/11/2013 18:25

You can still get Highland toffee :)
Hot crunch pudding. Packet mix you make up into a toffee flavoured hot pudding, then a sachet of crunchy biscuity bits to pour over the top. Used to make and eat it in my nanna's kitchen with my cousin. :)

HouseAtreides · 12/11/2013 18:26

And you can get sweet tobacco in traditional sweet shops :)

WallyBantersJunkBox · 12/11/2013 18:29

Those really cheap frozen mousse deserts with a swirl of raspberry or strawberry in them. They came in a small plastic pot with a cardboard lid, and were sold as a multipack in a plastic tubular sleeve.

Waiting for them to defrost on a Sunday afternoon was torturous.

clarinetV2 · 12/11/2013 18:34

Space dust. Do they still have that? The strawberry one was great. And flying saucers.

I never particularly liked Texan but I was addicted to Toffos. I used to buy them on the way home from school then rush up to the room I shared with my sister and lie on my bed and eat them all before my sister got home! They were much too good to share.

RedHelenB · 12/11/2013 18:44

Toffos remind me of afternoon play times at primary school. And double agents ( think they were strawberry & cream & lime & chocolate) as part of weekend walks

Pigsmummy · 12/11/2013 18:51

Mint Toffos. I would sell DH for a pack right now, also mojo's

mrspremise · 12/11/2013 19:12

PYRAMINT! I wish they still existed, and those gorgeous bacon-flavoured, pig-shaped crisp things called OINKS that I used to have when I was little. And 'Apeel' the powdered orange drink.

mrspremise · 12/11/2013 19:14

You can still get sweetie cigarettes in our local sweet shop. And Morrisons have the frozen ice cream tub things. Just FYI...

KringleCandleLover · 12/11/2013 19:20

Fizzbombs.. Proper 80s fizzbombs which took the skin off of your tongue with their sourness yet were soft and chewy inside.... No fizzbomb today compares.. And Mojos..... 2 for a penny. God I'm old.

WhereBeThatBlackbirdTo · 12/11/2013 19:24
