I'd like Frances to win, but would be happy for Kimberly too. I think she's very talented, and think the editors have done a number on her. Sad for Becca though

I like Kimberley. I don't think she is smug, but she is harshly edited. Those shots of her grimacing might not be from when the others do well, but from an entirely different time and subbed in!

Agree with this. My dd is 22 and can be complete pain in the arse when she's under a lot of stress. She's lovely the rest of the time!!

I think people are being rather harsh on Ruby.

I'm almost 20yrs older than Ruby and I can be just as flappy and anxious.

TBH I don't mind who wins. This is the first series I've watched. PH is a PITA though, all his shirt tucked into too tight jeans midlife crisis nonsense.

Frances' food may look amazing but Paul and Mary have been saying to her from the start that she is style over substance as her bakes are bland! Ruby is a bit annoying but her food tastes good, that's why she is in the final. I hope she wins but think that it will probably be Kimberly.

And I would be extra flappy if I were asked to make 3 different canapés in 2 hours, with Mary watching every move. I wouldn't want to disappoint her.

I like Ruby - and as others said upthread, her stuff generally tastes great, even if it doesn't look brilliant. I don't think she should win though - Frances for me (Kimberley's too up herself).

I love Kimberley, she knows she is good, but it is justified. And I agree that they are setting her up with the shots of her looking miserable for anyone else's praise. Ruby has the most dead, vacant eyes I have seen and she is so bloody mopey, her occasional successes don't cancel out the many flops to me, but evidently they do to Mary and Paul! I like Beca, but I think she went because she's a bit too much of a 'home cook' - lots of lovely, chunky cakes and popular flavours, not enough subtlety. Or maybe it's because Paul's desperate to shag another colleague.

I always found Frances more smug. I think she has been shocked to receive bad feedback most weeks.

Kimberlys happiness at doing well has seemed more like "wow, I did it!"

Any shots of her looking grumpy at others praise have totally passed me by.

I like Kimberley. Much prefer her honest confidence to Ruby's fake insecurity. I don't hate Ruby at all, just find her a bit irritating at times. Frances is great, her canapés looked amazing!!

Wasn't really surprised to see Beca go yesterday. Her stuff looked better than Ruby's but if Paul and Mary are to be believed, they just didn't taste quite as good.

I'd like Kimberley or Frances to win! :)

Right then you bunch of meanies, leave Ruby alone! As has been said, she's only 21 and as much as we all thought we knew everything at that age the majority of us were just as clueless in comparison to the world weary gin hags women we are today. Plus she has beautiful eyes

Beca was great, I watched last night praying Frances would go and was gutted she didn't. Only negative about Beca was she appeared a bit sulky, but then I got the impression that Paul was constantly trying to put her in her baking place, so maybe understandable.

The choice the judges were faced with was, style over substance or substance over style - I'd rather eat something 'rustic' and full of flavour than something that looks amazing but the flavour leaves me disappointed.

I like Kimberly too, she has been above all the others all the way through and is in a league of her own. I don't think she is smug.

Kimberly is the only winner in my eye if Ruby wins it will be a travesty as it would be purely down to ol' goat eyes and his lust filled cream buns too far?

She has no sparkle at all in her eyes compared to say Kimberly or Becca, she looks very sad.

I bet Ruby wins, she is an amazing cook, especially for someone so young.

She is a great cook, she is clever, she is tall, slim and beautiful. She has a lot going for her apart from being a bit maudlin. Sad

I wonder if the film crew try and catch every sad face she does?

Ruby? hmmm bit fed up with her moany 'it'll probably be crap' sort of comments before any one tastes her food. HOW many star bakers are they going to give her??

But it's Frances that drives me up the bloody wall! I shall have to be cross if she wins.

How is she even still in it? Bland food dressed up like a dogs dinner even when the judges have clearly said 'we just want an honest bake - taste is the main thing'. She treats every bake like a show stopper. She's been told and told. Grrrr.

I'd like Kimberly to win. She's been doing well since the start.

I thought I was the only one who finds Ruby itchy. I obviously don't hate her as I don't know her but agree that she doesn't come across well. And all the bloody simpering! DH thinks I'm hilarious for caring so much! Also her cakes and bakes all looked utterly pants last night. She definitely should have gone but the grey silverback has a mega crush on her and I think she's going to win. I thought it was curtains for Ruby last night, just like when Katherine went out last year. As for "her cakes taste amazing" well, we'll just have to believe that that's the case and that it's not because she's young, beautiful and would look good on the next BBC cook book Hmm synical, me, nooo Wish Beca had gone through. Sad

Agree that the editing is manipulative this year but Ruby is constantly misogs.

I think Kimberly should win. I think Ruby will probably win. sigh

What bothers me us her lack of confidence!!! She wouldn't make eye contact with PH last night!!

sad to see Becca go, though grinned at the catty exchange between her & Frances! Becca said"oh Frances isn't happy unless she's stressed to the wire" (or something similar) Frances replied "that's just how I am. Its better than being, oh I dunno, BORING"

I love Ruby. She's very me. I make cakes for children's parties and I ALWAYS get all angsty and stressed and apologise for them when I hand them over even though everyone is happy with them. She has a natural instinct/talent for cooking. Kimberly is a smug poohead
