Ive changed my name as im peeved off. I asked for a genuine bit of advice about dd2 school, and i got abuse. Everyone is so unfriendly and jump down ur throat. Its very clicky in here and they all stick togethet. At least on netmums u get a fair hearing and gd advice, its crap here.

People come on here for an ego trip and im sick of it. Have a bit if respect and decency for peoples feelings!!! Grrrrr wish it was properly monitored

Howsuper has summed up my feelings more eloquently than I ever could.

Thank you OP for starting this thread - the hilarious responses have reminded me just how much I love this nest of vipers. (Particularly impressed by the work that has gone into some of the more artistic posts.)

Oblomov - I think it's so the OP can feel like she's told us all. So now we know we're a bunch of atrocious cunts. Like we didn't before, or something.

I think the point of this thread was lost around 11 O Clock last night.

Did Olivia fall asleep? Im surprised this hasn't been deleted - maybe someone should nominate it for classics?

You do have to admire the irony though

OP: "you are all mean and horrible and unsupportive and shit"

Rest of mumsnet: No we aren't we are lovely really when you get to know ussssss

OP: "but on my thread people were really mean to me"

Rest of mumsnet (who by this time have drunk all the Wine) "Ah fuck off you cuntbunting, twatting fucker, fuck off to the far side of fuck netmums" "but seriously" We are a lovely bunch really - have some Cake and Flowers"

ToggyD · 12/10/2013 10:06

I've read the title of the thread and a lot of the original post. I may have posted already, but if I have I've forgotten what I said.

Grin LEM, think that about sums it up!

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 12/10/2013 10:27

LEM - I have got a wonderful picture in my head now, of the whlole of mumsnet doing a mass head-tilt!! Wonderful.

Ddog2 is at the vet now - dh is talking to the vet about stress (ds3 kicked off spectacularly last night, causing lots of stress and unhappiness, which made ddog2 all trembly - she is quite neurotic anyway - and we don't know if it was this that has caused all the throwing up). It looks like she threw up in her own bed last night, decided to move in with ddog1 in her bed, and threw up in there too (so the washing machine is working overtime today), and has thrown up under the desk (narrowly missing my feet) this morning too.

Could all this be a reaction to stress from a fairly neurotic dog? Or is she proper poorly? Hopefully the vet will have some suggestions - and maybe we need one of those pheromone collars for her.

Cunts

TEErickOrTEEreat · 12/10/2013 10:36

Thank you LEM. I feel less left out now.

And I am also surprised it's still here.

LEMisdisappointed · 12/10/2013 10:37

maybe she ate too much Cake? I hope she is better soon

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 12/10/2013 10:42

She got hold of ds3's sports bottle yesterday (one of the ones they mix up protein shakes in) and chewed up the top. We've found most of the bits, but the vet says he can feel an obstruction, and subject to confirmation when the other vet finishes his clinic at the other surgery, they will operate maybe today or tomorrow, to find and remove it.

Dh is in bits, having left her there, and I am not much better.

But hopefully, as this has all come on very quickly, it isn't something sinister - and they will be able to remove it. And she is a healthy, fit dog, so shouldn't have problems with the anaesthetic.

Apologies for thread-hijacking with my dog emergency.
