Ive changed my name as im peeved off. I asked for a genuine bit of advice about dd2 school, and i got abuse. Everyone is so unfriendly and jump down ur throat. Its very clicky in here and they all stick togethet. At least on netmums u get a fair hearing and gd advice, its crap here.

People come on here for an ego trip and im sick of it. Have a bit if respect and decency for peoples feelings!!! Grrrrr wish it was properly monitored

Fractured Grin

Libertine73 · 12/10/2013 04:19

Well, this is going well isn't it op? Have you ever considered your ice-breaking style? Maybe a bit confrontational?

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 12/10/2013 05:54

Arf @ cunt bunting Grin so easily amused during twat o'clock feeds Wink

MyBaby1day · 12/10/2013 06:45

YADNBU, I have posted a few times and found the same!!!. Couldn't agree more!.

Thumbwitch · 12/10/2013 07:02

Pinocchio - that is really awful behaviour you were on the receiving end of. Far more genuine grounds for complaint than the OP of this thread, I'd say. Shock

Stay here, we're far more useful.

OP, really, no one has a clue why people like you bother posting these threads - wind up or what, it makes no odds - you won't change the style of MN. Too many of us like it. If you don't, then don't stay. And if you do stay, for the love of GOD learn to write properly instead of like some half-educated teen.

Although I'm intrigued by your use of "sick" in your post about being "banned" - surely that makes it a good thing in your txtspk world? Or are you not "dahn wiv da kidz" in any other way than using their illiterate form of language?

Doingakatereddy · 12/10/2013 07:02

vapollicella and zingdollychops - amazing work!

In response to OP's post, I adore mumsnet - it assures me that when I became a mum I wasn't expected to become a pleasant, fluffy, 'Hun' overnight & could get on been the abrasive, on occasion bitchy woman I had always been

pippitysqueakity · 12/10/2013 07:25

MyBaby ?

Howsuper · 12/10/2013 07:53

Mumsnet is the most intelligent, funny, thought-provoking, sometimes outrageous, supportive, news-making, liberal site on t'interweb by far (I'm an ancient Mumsnetter with a new nickname btw) - and I LOVES IT.

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 12/10/2013 08:20

See - this is why I didn't want to go to bed last night - I knew I was going to miss more good stuff - real cuntbunting, CreepyAsFeckDog, and AmGrowingAnAwesomeTree's awesome post. I think I have a little bit of a crush on AmGrowing, after that!!

Scarer - I did a search using the OP's first nickname on this thread, but this thread is the only one that comes up - but that isn't surprising as she said in the OP she had namechanged for this thread. So I offered to do the search for her, if she gave me her other nickname, and link it to this thread - to save her the trouble - but she didn't respond.

She's also mentioned getting a pasting on another thread, a couple of years ago (thus proving she has been here for years) but hasn't told us that nickname or linked to that thread either.

I am up way earlier than I wanted to be, because ddog2 is still poorly. She has been a tiny bit sick in the night, but has utterly refused her breakfast (and she is half labrador - so to me that says that the labrador half, at least, is pretty ill), and has been out in the garden but hasn't done her business - so we are going to ring the vet as soon as they open, and take her over. Am a bit worried, tbh.

gordyslovesheep · 12/10/2013 08:21

my head hurts x

GuybrushThreepwoodMP · 12/10/2013 08:21

It's hard being the only sane person in a works of lunatics isn't it?
Or maybe you only like to be told what you want to hear.
YABU to start this thread rather than just leaving and popping off to Netmums for a cuddle though.
And YABU to write in text speak constantly. It really takes away credibility from what you write and make you seem like an aggressive inarticulate fool.

Both are useful in themselves, MN definitely has the edge. Although this thread has become a bit arselicky which is unusual.

You want unfriendly? Go to the DFF (defensive formula feeders) pages on that shitty alpha thing. I read a blog on there saying that a woman who had undergone a bilateral mastectomy shouldn't have had a child as she wasn't able to feed it in the "only non poisonous" way possible. I hate them.

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 12/10/2013 08:35

Formula feeding is poisonous, according to them, is it, Theodora? Blimey - I must tell all three of my dses to drop dead on the spot. I can only assume that it is a miracle they have survived this long. I wonder what explains their academic achievements, though......?

HereComesHoneyBooBooDragon · 12/10/2013 08:47

A non eating Labrador is definitely worth the vets. If you can get in, most pet shops sell good pro biotics that help inflamed poorly tummies and bum tube bits.

AuntieStella · 12/10/2013 08:50

There's also a poster (possibly more than one, but I 'see' one as the style is so similar) who starts an AIBU, gets disagreed with (robustly, but not abusively), then a TAAT complaining about how nasty we are.

This is very like that, but with unspecified earlier thread.

HereComesHoneyBooBooDragon · 12/10/2013 08:57

Theo. I bf both mine and did/do self weaning. I am still EVIL according to The shitty Alpha thing as from age 1, I also let mine drink (da da daaaaaaa) cows milk.

BeckAndCall · 12/10/2013 08:58

I cried a little there when I read moldingsunbeams post of 22.46 from last night but then I cry at anything as I'm menopausal

ConfusedPixie · 12/10/2013 09:01

I love the floral "FUCK OFF" Grin And the cunt bunting (both MN version and RL).

Hope ddog2 is okay SDTG :(

Jesus Theodora, that's horrendous :(

TEErickOrTEEreat · 12/10/2013 09:06

I can't believe I missed another one of these awesome threads.

Damn in laws and them coming down to visit and interrupting my MN time.

Did someone call Olivia an elephant?!?! (skimmed the thread)

MoominsYonisAreScary · 12/10/2013 09:15

Yes that DFF alpha group thing is full of loons, awful people.

Like threads like this, I always pop over to nm to have a nosy about. Reminds me why im here.

Trills · 12/10/2013 09:17

I know of two people who have had babies in the past few months and called them Olivia.

I don't think they are on MN...

BuzzardBirdBloodBath · 12/10/2013 09:19

Wow, fell asleep last night and just skimmed 23 pages of only 2 Op posts, several Olivia post and some very pretty pictures!Ooo and some txt spk(grrr!) What have I missed?!
