Yes, I have big clown feet, I am well aware of that fact, so there's no need for you to comment on it even further.

It always seems to be in work that people ask how big my feet are. Then the usual comments/insults come in
"HOW big? Wow where do you park them at night?"
"Don't wear red shoes you'll be mistaken for a clown"
"They're huge. I'd hate to have feet as big as yours."

Just shut up! That's great you have lovely small size 3/4/5 feet! Do I comment on how big you ears/nose/eyes/whatever are? No! So leave my feet alone!

Just point to them and say 'They're that big' and roll your eyes as though they must be stupid.
Seriously though, I can imagine how annoying that must be, but perhaps a pre-emptive strike would help. If someone even begins to mention them, reel of the list of pointlessly unfunny comments before they have a chance to and tell them that unless they have an original 'joke' you don't want to hear it.

People just like to make stupid comments because they can't think of anything better to say. My feet are quite ugly, last time I wore sandals someone said they look like they have been in a car accident. Can't bring myself to wear sandals anymore!

I am you, Laurie. OP, that is rude, rude. I would look them in the eye and simly say "How rude". I bet you are lovely and tall. If you are 5' like us then I am sorry but that IS a problem.

I get the same only I have size 2 feet - some joker always asks how I stand up without toppling over. Arseholes.

I love my feet, they currently sport lovely turquoise glittery gel. I do think that before donning sandals it is best to get rid of hard skin and nobody likes a bare toenail.

I have size 8's AND bunions so can only wear fuck ugly shoes which seem to make my feet look twice their size. I hate my feet and genuinely feel like punching people when they point them out.. I am not even tall :( (5ft6)

Sounds OK to me. In fact 5'5 is a bit if a giant. Either way they are being rude and how very dare they? I don't think I would comment actually if anyone says anything. I would give them my death stare. I suppose because feet are so far away they think they can say something but it is not nice of them to do so and they are not nice people.

My DH says I have shrek feet. They look fine to me apart from when I bend my toes, they don't bend properly so do look a bit odd Lol.

I'm a size 7 so fairly big but wouldn't dream of commenting on anyone else's feet. I don't even notice them. How rude of people.

My auntie has size 3 feet. She often gets her shoes in the child section as a lot of adult places start at 4.

5'5" is a bit of a giant? Really? I thing around 5'4" is average height. I'm 5'8" so what does that make me lol.

I think commenting on any aspect if anyone's appearance, unless being complimentary, is incredibly bad mannered.

Imagine if I said to someone "haha look at your massive arse, how do you walk without tipping over"... I'd expect a smack in the face. And yet replace "massive arse" with "titchy feet" and think its ok.
