To speak to the school?

Orchwoid · 17/09/2013 17:47

I've just been to collect my son from his school and he's told me that he won't be cast in his school Christmas play but all the other children will.

I am fumming. I am going to go and speak to his teacher first thing tomorrow morning but I am so angry that I can't work out whether I'm being reasonable or not.

Thanks Boulevard. I'm slightly depressed at the naivety of questions like "As ilovesooty says, if it's the only school in the area, how does it accommodate people from other faiths?". The simply answer is that it doesn't. That is how the UK school system is set up, and it's disgraceful.

NoIAmLouise · 18/09/2013 14:07

Or am I Spartacus? Grin

ImLouiseOhYes · 18/09/2013 14:12

My arse is wonderful. Clouds are great for the complexion!

LEMisdisappointed · 18/09/2013 14:45

Oh, i don't want to be Louise anymore Hmm

VanitasVanitatum · 18/09/2013 14:54

Surely OP is the hamwidge troll poster?! Such similar posting style...

SaggyOldClothCatPuss · 18/09/2013 14:56

I don't like to troll hunt, but ^^that EXACTLY!

FreeWee · 18/09/2013 15:02

I've just Googled fumming. Apparently apart from actresses of course there really are quite a lot of people on the Internet who are fumming. OP perhaps you could start up a self help group with Louise?

TheOneWithTheHair · 18/09/2013 15:05

Place marking for an update later.

filimou · 18/09/2013 15:16

Surely I cannot be the only one wondering if she saw Louise this morning, why is she shouting out to her on t'other thread????

Louise HAS to be on the gin by now surely.................

(Posts on both threads as I am now beyond confused)

YouTheCat · 18/09/2013 15:18

The reason we have so many good CofE schools is because the church realised the value of education when the state didn't.
If there are no state schools in the area sounds like nothing much has changed and perhaps we should be thanking church?

So might OP be fumming at the HT now?

Hope not for the HTs sake-I'm sure they don't deserve that!

ilovesooty · 18/09/2013 15:41

I don't think the question about accommodating other faiths was particularly naive. Ofsted will not be impressed if they don't.

YouTheCat · 18/09/2013 15:42

Thank you, filimou.

I am so glad I'm not called Louise at this moment in time. Grin

She saw Louise, but then she did not see her by the block pavving which has left her concerned.....

Hmm Confused

YouTheCat · 18/09/2013 15:57

Maybe she was wearing block pavving camouflage?

I'm betting her name isn't even Louise, as if you'd give this ranty nut job your real name especially if your child has already been cast as Shepherd 1 and no fecking sometime atheist is getting in the way of your videocamera

exoticfruits · 18/09/2013 16:29

I am all agog- the meeting must have taken place- update needed.
