We are not far from you & heating is on full blast! Just about caused a domestic mind you Grin

SauvignonBlanche · 06/09/2013 19:30

I was just wondering the same thing!

Doobiedoobedoobie · 06/09/2013 19:31

So unreasonable Shock

Though I'm in Leicester and its not too bad here!

PandorasSocks · 06/09/2013 19:33

YANBU. Mine is most definitely on.

DH is not coping well with this development because (and this really is his reasoning): "It was scorching hot yesterday - it's still summer! Why do you need the heating on today?" Hmm

BadRoly · 06/09/2013 19:34

Mine would be on if it wasn't broken Hmm

iklboo · 06/09/2013 19:35

Heating on here near Manchester. Sodding freezing.

TwoMuchTwoYoung · 06/09/2013 19:36

Ooh was just searching for a thread about this. ( I don't like starting threads for some reason)

It's a bit chilly and was wondering if anyone else has put their heating on. I put it on in the car this afternoon for the first time in months.
Think I might just put some socks on and watch TV in bed after ds has gone to bed.

OwlMother · 06/09/2013 19:37

Edinburgh too. Heating in too. Seriously dreich.

wusses all of you!! it's September ffs! If you get too comfy now, by March the gas bill will be enough to make the blood freeze in your veins! Put more clothes on!

Taz1212 · 06/09/2013 19:42

Not far from you and DH asked if we could put the heating n this evening. Am now nice and toasty in front of the TV!

madmomma · 06/09/2013 19:43

Mind you I'm fat. It's no fun if you're thin and it's cold.

UseHerName · 06/09/2013 19:48

ours in on Shock Blush

UseHerName · 06/09/2013 19:48

is on obviously

Tabby1963 · 06/09/2013 19:49

Before I am forced to put the heating on I put on extra layers and dressing gown plus fur throws and fluffy slippers. Cat 1 drapes around my neck, cat 2 on lap. Heating won't be on until end of October. I live in Scotland.

scarletribbon · 06/09/2013 19:50

So...you're telling me to take the tartan rug off and ditch the hot water bottle for a life free of heating care?

OP posts:
Meglet · 06/09/2013 19:52

Mine's on.

I'm in Hampshire.

Pyschobabbler · 06/09/2013 19:55

I'm in Essex and its ok here, but don't be a martyr op, put it on and get nice and toasty!

JemimaMuddledUp · 06/09/2013 19:55

YANBU, as long as you can afford it.

I've felt cold today, needed a coat to keep me warm even when cycling to work. But I'm holding out a little bit longer on the heating as the bills have gone up by nearly 25% this year already despite our usage being the same Hmm

Preferthedogtothekids · 06/09/2013 19:58

I'm in Fife and I'm really cold but *I absolutely refuse to put the heating on until September is over.

I'm well 'ard.

*may change mind without further notice

sonlypuppyfat · 06/09/2013 19:59

Everyone has told me its cold today but I feel brilliant I've been in a t shirt all day. I have felt the best I have all summer I hate being hot.

KirjavaTheCat · 06/09/2013 20:01

I'm in Kent, it's alright here. We won't be putting the heating on until are feet are cold through two layers of socks and slippers.

lyndie · 06/09/2013 20:01

Edinburgh too! Heating most definitely on!

KirjavaTheCat · 06/09/2013 20:02

our feet Blush

scarletribbon · 06/09/2013 20:02

See I thought I was well 'ard too! But turns out I'm super soft...fighting it though
